“IAbsolutely love this cafe! I always come here for the Havana cappuccino - it’s so delicious. Today, I tried their salad for the first time, and I have to say, this place is a hidden gem for salads. The signature avocado salad is incredibly tasty! unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere, and I keep craving it. It feels healthy and fresh, too. All the cookies are great as well. I’m so happy this cafe is close to where I work!“

“All time favorite cafe latte spot. With waffle & strawberries. At 7:30am!“
“I will go out of my way to get their matcha cookies. They are VERY MATCHA. So good. They don’t skip out on the flavor here. Also will often run out of them.
I also like their ham+cheese croissant. It’s hella loaded and delicious.
Working out of here is a treat. Food service vibes 10/10 all around“

“Coupa Cafe had the best coffee of anywhere I went in Palo Alto. I loved the flavor and intensity of the Marron in particular!“
“Stanford tends to launch students into high-impact tracks — research, startups, big tech, policy, and venture networks. The school is built to convert ambition into opportunity.
UC Davis, meanwhile, often markets prestige without delivering equivalent career outcomes. Many grads report earning around $58k ten years after enrollment, which is tough in California’s cost of living — especially with Bay Area proximity. That gap between title and practical ability can create a perception in industry that some graduates were trained to look credentialed rather than to perform. Companies sometimes respond by being cautious about “UC product” hires who show degrees and buzzwords, but less applied problem-solving experience.
There’s also a campus culture where appearing agreeable can matter more than building real skill. Professors often act as gatekeepers, and students learn to navigate personalities instead of developing independence. This can leave graduates technically qualified on paper, but underprepared in environments that require initiative and depth“

“While visiting Stanford University, it was rainy and cold, so I ordered beef vegetable soup and pizza. The soup had a lot of ingredients and was warm, and the shrimp pizza had a strong scent, whether it was cilantro or basil, but I liked it, but I guess people may have different preferences.“
“I was meaning to write this last week, but a few days ago I went to visit Stanford University and I came across this cafe. The cashier at the time (whose name is Jose) was so nice and helpful with my order. Not only did he recommend a great food and drink item but he also informed me about the rewards system and he helped me go through the process step by step. I don't normally write these types of reviews, but I wanted to spend an extra minute out of my day to do this because I could tell he works hard, and good service can be quite hard to come by these days. This made my visit to Stanford very pleasing and I cant wait to go back! Thank you for taking the time to cater to me, Jose!“

“Starbucks has good AND inexpensive ☕ if you bring a mug! It's $0.50 for refill ☕ at the Stanford University Starbucks if you bring your own mug AND the customers and staff are exceptionally charming! Get here early though! The trail from Los Altos to Stanford University through the back of Gunn High School is exceptionally therapeutic and the Starbucks ☕ at Stanford University definitely tastes better than other Starbucks, and everyone so far is AWESOME! I normally avoid Starbucks but the Stanford University Starbucks is on par with the Narita Airport Starbucks in my opinion for service and charm. ☕☕☕☕☕☕❤️“
