They’ve got a solid collection of artifacts and art. Contemporary exhibitions provide a stark contrast to the the classics of the western cannon and give viewers much to consider. It’s a small space that can be easily enjoyed in just a couple of hours.
I’ve always enjoyed dining at this cafe when visiting the museums. Plenty of shades by outdoor tables and lawn seatings adjacent to Rodin sculpture garden. Burgers, pasta and salads are tastier than other museum cafes in California. Complaining about hours of operation? Sounds like someone should cook their own food so they can eat it whenever they want. Everyone needs a rest, especially those that have to service others. Relax people.
