“JC's has been my go-to BBQ spot for over 25 years. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their beef ribs! The meat is always falling off the bone. And they're big! The hot links are addictive, the chicken is perfect and when I used to work close by, on my lunch break I would frequently get their pulled pork. I'm obsessed with the garden salad & dressing!! Always so consistently fresh and crisp! Would recommend 10 out of 10!“

“It's a food truck restaurant. But they have covered seating which they share with another pop up Mexican restaurant.A sign in the sidewalk directs you inside a driveway. It's the covered restaurant right there in the left. You can't tell because the sign is for the restaurant they share the eating space with.Menu is very limited but it's well prepare and good.Lumpia is fresh; he rolls and then deep fries them right there. The chicken with garlic rice is tasty. The garlic rice is actually white rice topped with toasted garlic. Try the pork and tocino skewers.“

I got the King sandwich, which is a pile of pork rib meat and hot links on a simple white bread roll. It was very good, but I'd like to add kimchi next time for some variety.“

I ordered the pulled pork plate with baked beans and okra, and I was honestly blown away. The pork was incredibly tender, perfectly smoked, and full of rich flavor. I’m picky about baked beans, and these were incredible — sweet, savory, and packed with flavor. The roast pork should have better skin, since the one here the skin didn’t crackle all the way thru so it’s a little tough. But the meat is super tender. “From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but drop any preconceived notions. This place blows chains like L&L out of the water. If you're looking for Hawaiian and Chinese American comfort food, this is the place to go. I can honestly recommend so much of the menu, but my absolute favorite thing they make is their gravy. Their chicken cutlet with gravy is so good (same thing with their gravy fries), but a hot tip for your dipping needs is that they'll sell you the gravy separately if you ask for it.“

“I have been looking for the eggs noodles soup with duck for my mom and this one hit the spot. She liked it and said she would be back.

In general, it looked pretty much like every other Chinese restaurant that has been around 20+ years. It’s all about practicality and you do not come here for the ambience or hanging out. You come to eat and then leave.

The menu range between $15-$18 and a portion is large. They give you a lot of rice whether it be plain rice or fried rice. We ordered three dishes and I think the egg noodles with duck was the best.

What was interesting to me was that they were about six people who worked there all the which have to be at least 60 to 70 years old men, which I found kind of strange (Saturday lunch as of Jan 2026).

While my rating is not very high, I would come back for that noodle soup with my mom.“
