“Food was good. The mahi mahi grilled was delicious! I would get it again. The French fries were very plain and boring so I'd get something different next time.
There was a very drunk very loud group behind us that really ruined our time there.“

“The Monterey Rd restaurant is kuddos 5stars. The restaurant is always clean, the service is great the delivery is quick and OMG the food is impeccable good. I have referral numerous family members and friends to this one restaurant. I fell in love 3 12 yes ago and now I'm a regular. the food is clean, healthy and very tasty.“

“This location appears to have been in business for quite sometime at one point they did have outdoor dining, but no more. This was a last minute dinner pick up on the way to hotel. I got the barbecue mix. Everything was seasoned, tasty and cooked as it should. Key note - chicken was definitely the best part of the dish cook to perfection. I forgot to take pictures of the plate, but it was a pretty good portion of food as well as fresh and tasty for a Hawaiian barbecue place. Nothing negative about the BBQ mix plate

Dine in wouldn’t be an issue if I was in that area again. On this particular day, all the dine in folks were watching the World Cup.“

Massive food for a very reasonable price. Chicken is delicious and cooked right every time. Vegetables are fresh and delicious.

Come with a hearty appetite, or be prepared to take half your serving home with you.

This is my go-to lunch spot when I miss the on-site lunch truck at my work. NEVER had a poor experience here!“

“I ordered the BBQ beef and asked for it cooked a little more on the tender side with the sauce on the side — similar to how I like it when I grill at home. They got it just right. The flavor was solid, the portion was good, and everything came out quickly. Service was smooth, and the place has that simple, clean, no‑nonsense atmosphere you expect from L&L. Overall, a solid 4‑star experience across food, service, and atmosphere. I’d come back again.“

“Love the food here. It’s an unusual mixture of the legacy Hawaiian BBQ and Xian comfort food. Chicken Katsu! BBQ chicken beef pork! Liang Pi! Rowjamo! Beef brisket noodle soup! Something for everyone. Sorry no more doughnuts however. They have Milk Tea drinks too! New name is Taste China restaurant.“

“The food was so good and the employees were so nice they hooked it up on the portion I mean I had lunch dinner and lunch for the next day (midnight munchies too to keep it all the way 100). Food tasted great and was good quality . Overall 100/10 the broccoli was cooked just right too I will definitely be back. Thank yall for the amazing service !“

“This junk food junkie loved my first ever bowl. And it was vegan and gluten free so I can't even believe how awesome it was. I ordered the pineapple teriyaki cauliflower bowl with no bell peppers and added mushrooms instead and absolutely everything was delicious! I ordered it served with the sesame scallion rice and I can't even believe how much I loved that rice!It was a really big portion and totally filled me up. I couldn't even finish the sweet potato salad, which was also really good. I thought I would be hungry because there was no meat in my meal but nope. Totally happy and ready for a nap. Wish my boss would let me take one LOL!I found them through GrubHub and the meal arrived nice and warm. I will definitely be ordering Lulu bowls again!“

“Really good local joint for excellent Hawaiian BBQ. So many good menu selections with bbq nix. Different plates, chicken katsu, kalua pork, etc. Staff is really friendly and helpful and they are always have good traffic and plenty of seating.“

“The poke bowls here are pretty good lots of side and fish options.

Only downside is the bowls here are pretty pricey compared to other stores, that I would argue have freshier fish options for similar or even cheaper prices. But they are in downtown and rent is expensive so very understandable.

Employees here are really nice and chill. They a nice store with indoor and outdoor seating.“

“From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but drop any preconceived notions. This place blows chains like L&L out of the water. If you're looking for Hawaiian and Chinese American comfort food, this is the place to go. I can honestly recommend so much of the menu, but my absolute favorite thing they make is their gravy. Their chicken cutlet with gravy is so good (same thing with their gravy fries), but a hot tip for your dipping needs is that they'll sell you the gravy separately if you ask for it.“

“Island vibes and scrumptious Hawaiian kind food. I walked in on a gamble since it’s hard to find a good Hawaiian BBQ place. This place is about premium products and it shows in their food. Seafood is hard to fake, their Seafood platter was on point. Crunchy but moist ! I’ll be back to try it all.“

“It's not table service but pretty close to it. The good is really good. We had grilled salmon and barramundi. Both were good but the barramundi was really awesome. They served the food hot, a big plus in my book. The staff is very helpful and very nice.“

“We met with friends at this spot for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the staff members were so friendly and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.“

“A pretty solid Hawaiian barbecue restaurant chain with probably the best musubi from a chain.

Their macaroni salad is fine, not my favorite but musubi wise their my goto restaurant.

Pricing wise they're pretty good as well, especially if you get their three pack for the musubi.“
