Ate here recently with my wife. I ordered our usual bbq mix combo. The serving is very generous in portion, and predictably delicious with the Hawaiian bbq trip of chicken, beef bulgogi, and short rib, which is my all time favorite. Walden the owner was extra friendly and made us feel right at home. Also, we tried the firecracker shrimp musubi, which was recommended by my friend, and is unique to this specific location. Since the new owner has taken over the restaurant, quality of food is tremendously better. Chicken katsu was delicious.. No longer dry or over cooked. Sauce provided was ample and perfect for the meal. We stopped ordering from there but will now be a regular place you eat! Thank you for the yummy food!

Everytime I go to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, I usually get the Chicken katsu. That's the only thing I get there even though there's a lot of options. The chicken katsu is crispy and really good, I also like the macaroni salad. I think the serving is great for what you paid for. The mini version is also good for one person, This is a great place if you want a comforting meal and like Hawaiian barbecue
