Went for the first time today and this is about to be my new favorite lunch spot! My friends and I had a takeout order of the beef brisket sandwich, everything's bigger in Texas sandwich, seafood gumbo, fries, and a plate with jackfruit, mac and cheese, and green beans. I hate that I have to go back and change my review of Jackie's Place. I first came here about 2 years ago and was throughly impressed. The food was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant itself was beautiful and elegant.I recently went back last Saturday, and the food was stale, old, and greasy. The size and quality of the fish were horrendous, and the chicken wings were at least a day old. The greens were full of stems and mushy.
