“We buy dim sum every week from Dim Sum king, food is fresh and tasty, price is good !Today, they celebrated Chinese New Year with Lion dance and dragon dance, there were hundred of people watching. They bring the community together to enjoy the festivities!“
“I'm from out of town and came back after a few years' absence, and this place still did not disappoint. Besides fantastic dim sum, we ordered a few dishes off the regular menu which were excellent. For dim sum, I'd especially recommend the baked bbq buns.“
“I kept passing by here so finally decided to give it a try!Plenty of parking next to the restaurant, and I was a little surprised the place was quite empty on a Sunday at noon. Maybe most people take it to go? The restaurant itself is nice and bright, all the tables looked clean and inviting. The server was very friendly and helped me with the menu since it was my first time there. The dim sum dishes looked interesting, but I wouldn't be able to try many dishes just by myself, so I ended up ordering the chicken garlic noodles. I was surprised there was no way to add tip on the credit card payment, and had to dig out some cash. The food came out pretty quickly, the chicken portion was... small. The food isn't exactly cheap, my entree plus a drink was $20 pre-tip. The garlic noodles portion was good, but just didn't have many pieces of chicken. With 0 other sides (veg?) the dish just looked a little sad. Anyhoo, the food itself tasted good so I'm still happy with the meal. I took about half the noodles home to eat with other stuff later.Overall a pleasant experience! Will come back and try some other items next time!“
“Definitely a surprise to find such a great Chinese restaurant attached to a Ramada Inn! I lived and traveled all over China for 2 years and I was pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic Chinese dining experience this side of the Pacific and buried in the suburbs! I learned a bit more about its history while there; turns out that the restaurant leased out the space after the Ramada restaurant closed and has been around since!I honestly can't fault the restaurant on anything! The food was fabulous and very representative of a delicious Cantonese dining experience. The classic round tables had me right back at home in Shanghai and Suzhou and the cuisine reminded me of so many late nights out with friends in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Every dish we ate was part of a Lunar New Year's fixed menu and perfectly captured the holiday spirit. My only disappointment was that it wasn't my personal favorite of the wide diversity of Chinese cuisines, but that is splitting hairs and I can't put that on the restaurant, haha. They executed their meal and regional cuisine flawlessly and every bite was juicy and delicious! If you are looking for an authentic Chinese food experience, I highly recommend making it out to Sifu Wong Kitchen. Since I ordered the fixed menu for Lunar New Year, I can't attest to the typical menu per se, but I will definitely be coming back. I might need to keep an eye on the prices though, cause the holiday meal was a bit on the pricey side.“
“A friend suggested we meet up so I suggested dim sum and he immediately said we should go to Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant. He suggested we get there at 11 AM because there's usually a huge line. Fortunately we only had to wait less than 10 minutes to get a table for four. After being seated I immediately appreciated that this place still uses dim sum carts ?. Almost all of the other dim sum places have you order on paper which is more efficient but takes a little bit away from the experience. The dim sum was good though honestly I am not very discriminating about dim sum. We ordered the typical, Siu Mai ?, Steamed Pork Ribs , Shrimp Dumplings ?, Stuffed Eggplant ?, Fried Sesame Balls ⚽️, etc.One thing that surprised me about this place was we were never hurried. I think we were there for ninety minutes. ⏳“
“Genuine Northern-style Chinese dumplings, noodles, and pancakes are served here. The dumpling skins boast a pleasantly springy texture. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is decent. A must-visit spot for those who appreciate Northern Chinese cuisine.“
“Today we visited our beloved restaurant Din Tai Fung again. Whether in Taiwan or the United States, its consistent high-quality service remains the same. Surprisingly, the American branches have maintained the same standard, and the young service team is courteous and attentive. The food is as delicious as ever, and every time I visit, I look forward to it. It is indeed a place worth returning to again and again. I ate Xiao Long Bao today, and the fried tofu was quite delicious along with the kale and pork ribs and egg fried rice. It's a pity that the food intake is limited, otherwise I should have ordered more.“
“Their porridges are thick, hot and satisfying. Their rice rolls are also delicious along with the dim sum. Ordering through their QR code was much easier and less pressure for me plus it had plenty of pictures and good descriptions of each item. I appreciate that they always provide extra bowls and spoons for sharing. Unisex restroom available but be prepared to wait during weekends.“
“My family’s first time eating dumplings, and it was great the service here is quick and all the dumplings we tried especially the pork soup dumplings and chicken wontons in Chile oil were amazing. A great choice for families or first timers for dumplings.“
“Came here on a rainy Saturday evening for dinner. There were quite a few patrons, but no wait since there were open tables. The “prefer English” option for the QR menu was nicely done. Everything was translated (as opposed to Taiwan Bistro’s QR system where all the menu items are still in Chinese and only the in-app functions like “order now” are in English). We would skip the woodear mushrooms next time; these were a little too spicy, sharp and tangy for our liking. I got the clear beef noodle with rice noodle, which was tasty. The highlight was the pan fried soup bun. Lots of soup and a lovely crusty bottom! We would come here again!“
“I recently tried the chicken pan-fried momos from the food truck, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The aroma alone was enticing, and the first bite confirmed that they were exceptionally well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The crispy exterior gave way to juicy, flavorful chicken filling, creating a delightful contrast in textures. The portion size was generous, and considering the taste and quality, the price was definitely worth it. Overall, it was a satisfying and memorable experience.“
“So much deliciousness in our order, from the Garlic String Bean to the Shanghai Pan Fried Soup Dumpling (6) to the Har Gow Shrimp Dumpling (8) to the Pork Dumpling W. Napa Cabbage ALL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. However, the Salt & Pepper Fish, though very tasty, had an oddly sweet-tasting batter - just weird. But overall, this place serves amazingly good food.“
“About the best shop in the area for frozen dumplings. Wide variety including 4 kinds of vegetarian dumplings. The zucchini dumpling is pretty good. But the best veggie is not listed on their menu or website: Beyond meat & corn dumpling. This is the closest veg version to the juicy pork dumpling. Just ask for it at the store. Now serving hot take-out dishes (see photo of menu). Not all items may be available every day. You can call ahead and check availability, and they may even set some aside for you to pick up if they're running low.“
“I loved the fact that the tables were spaciously spaced out. I love it when there is plenty of elbow space. The food was pretty good and the selection were wide. My favorite is the No Mai fan.it was so tasty. I loved all our dishesParking: Plenty of spaces“
“One of the better dimsum restaurants in the South Bay. Their shrimp & chive dumplings were very good, sweeter shrimp with the mild oniony taste from chives. If you're going on the weekend be there before 11am. There's a long line by 1130am. Nice dining area. Parking behind the building.Parking: Parking can be difficult during peak hours.“
“Dim sum without the cart ladies. They have dim sum brought out in the carts after you order with their electronic tablet on the tables. But be aware they really only look at the food order that prints, and you have to ask the human waiters for water and napkins, even after you select those things on the tablet. Food was decent, the service was decent, large parking lot in san jose is a big deal. The price is lower than higher end places, and if you are okay with to go chopsticks and cantonese (or pointing) as the main communication, this is a decent option.I would come here if i did not want to spend double at asian pearl. But if i want bigger and better quality, maybe only if i was less than 5 miles away.“
“Took my parents here who have never had dumplings and they loved it. We had the beef, pork and shrimp, and veggie SJBs, charsiu bao, and chicken and pork xlb. Everything was really delicious but our unanimous favorite was the beef SJB. Definitely will be coming back when I get a soup dumpling craving.“
“We celebrated our wedding banquet at Grand Dynasty Cupertino this past weekend and it was everything we could have wanted out of a wedding venue. Spacious, delicious hot food, reliable and trustworthy staff and most importantly clean bathrooms! We planned our wedding in under 2 months and the restaurant manager, Esmond, was an absolute delight to work with. He was attentive and flexible and made sure our wedding went smoothly. We can’t thank Esmond enough for his guidance as we planned one of the biggest nights of our lives. Grand dynasty is very lucky to have him! I would recommend this venue for any type of celebration as they have small to medium to large sized rooms available for your hosting needs.“
“My return home was made exceptionally special, thanks to a surprise lunch date at Lei Garden, orchestrated by my thoughtful husband right after picking me up from the airport. This gesture, combined with the joy of seeing my beloved dog and spouse again, was wonderfully augmented by the promise of indulging in Lei Garden’s unparalleled dim sum - a culinary highlight we always look forward to.Lei Garden has cemented its place in our hearts as the ultimate destination for quality dim sum. The restaurant’s commitment to excellence is evident in every dish served. Our favorites were presented steaming hot, a testament to their freshness and the kitchen’s dedication to delivering the best dining experience. The flavors were as comforting and delightful as ever, making each bite a reminder of why we keep coming back. The staff at Lei Garden deserves special mention for their exceptional service. Their long-standing presence suggests a loyalty and consistency that’s rare to find. Their attentiveness is remarkable; a quick glance their way guarantees immediate assistance, making us feel valued and well-cared for throughout our meal.A noteworthy instance of their exemplary service occurred when, in my jet-lagged state, I mistakenly wrote a $200 tip on the bill. Demonstrating honesty and integrity, the staff promptly found us at the door to verify the amount. This act of kindness and honesty was deeply appreciated and speaks volumes about the character of Lei Garden’s team.Lei Garden is not just a restaurant; it’s a haven of delightful culinary experiences, underscored by genuine hospitality and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s our preferred spot for celebrating the simple joys of life with good food and great company. Our latest visit was a reminder of the many reasons we cherish this place. Heartfelt thanks to Lei Garden for another unforgettable dining experience and for upholding the highest standards of food quality and service. Five stars all the way!“
“Spicy Pork Belly with thick noodle didn't taste right. Something funky with the spicy soup so my wife ordered another pork belly with thick noodle, NO spice. It's okay. The Special Noodle in Santa Cruz has the better Spicy Pork Belly with thick noodle soup. Great service at both locations.“
“Very tasty dumplings at a reasonable price and fast service! They were able to accommodate us filling their entire restaurant randomly on a Friday night and still got hot dishes out very quickly! Definitely would recommend this location to others in the “
“Great little dim sum place. I am not an expert, but i loved the tripe, xiaolong bao (yes, I know, it's from Shanghai, but what the heck ?), siu mai and sticky rice. The many Chinese families around me seemed to agree, so I trust them. ?“
“Just discovered this place! Didn't know it was so close to work. It's like a little hole in the wall. What makes it a great place is their stuff is fresh. They make their own dumplings there too and you can probably watch them from outside making them. Their food tastes so good and service was super quick. We were expecting to pay a lot but the prices here were reasonable. Will definitely come back!“
