“The food is amazing. We go there every week, but it’s not all about the food. Sandy and her staff make us feel like family. We truly appreciate them! ❤️❤️❤️“

“I’ve been coming here for years! The food is delicious and dumplings are better than Ding Tai Fung. Best place to eat dumplings and without the crazy lines! It’s a small dive but I personally think that it’s quite
charming.“

“I’ve been coming here for dim sum for a while and it’s always a great experience. The dining hall is very spacious, and even on weekends there’s usually little to no wait, or the line moves pretty quickly. The seafood dishes are also well done—slightly on the pricier side, but worth it.
This was actually my first time coming for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected more of a “fine dining” style with small portions, but the portions were very generous—the fried rice was literally like a small mountain!
One thing that really stood out was the service. We ordered a vegetable dish that had a couple of carrot slices, and when I tasted one it seemed a bit off (slightly sour). They immediately made us a brand new dish without carrots, no questions asked. They even gave us complimentary longevity buns.
We were also celebrating a friend’s birthday—bringing our own cake, singing, and candles—and they didn’t charge any extra fees. The staff helped us light the candles and even played a birthday song, which made the experience extra special.
Overall, great food, generous portions, and excellent service. Definitely a go-to spot for both dim sum and dinner!“

“I like the ambiance of this restaurant. The color scheme, furniture, and dishware are really pretty. It's a pleasant place to dine. Unfortunately, the food and prices make it not worth it to me. The flavors feel off, like lacking seasoning or not the right balance of flavors. The beijing It's hard to justify paying such high prices for dishes that don't hit the mark. It's a shame because the menu looked really good and I like the variety of dishes this place serves.“

“Because my parents owned a Chinese restaurant and i used to work there when I was young, I can recognize good Chinese food. The New Kirin under new ownership is my wife and my new go to for Chinese food. The new owner, Fanny, is very helpful and friendly. The food, especially the beef dishes, is excellent. The beef is usually cooked to the Chinese standard, which is medium, is tender and flavorful. My wife also loved her tofu dishes. The prices are average but the portions are generous. There is usually no wait for a table.
I highly recommend Kirin for a casual, relaxing night out.“

“Crispy pork belly brought us to this restaurant. It didn’t disappointed us, so as another dish - house special pan fried noodles. The dishes were tasty and big portion. The Fried noodles was crispy and topped with mushrooms, fish, pork, chicken, squid, bok choy… it was a good dish! We highly recommend it for crispy noodles lover.😋 Tea and a dish of peanuts was on the house 😁😁
The staff were friendly and nice. Never push for order and check. Credit cards were accept but no Apple Pay.
The atmosphere was very Chinese style. We recognized many of its guests speak GuangDongnese. So we guessed this restaurant must serve good HK style food. We will come again!😊😊“

“This used to be a good restaurant, but for the past year or so, the place is run down, smell bad, dirty, and the food quality is getting worse. Very disappointed.“

“They have a total of seven different kinds of gluten free dumplings (four with meat or seafood, and three vegetarian ones). Having so many gluten free dumpling options is almost unheard of. We ordered all of them and were very impressed. Tasty, generous portions and clean feeling because of the water-based cooking.“

“This is our go to Dim Sum spot, locally. It always great food. Sometimes the servers pass us by, but there’s these two ladies that ALWAYS come to our table. They get us what we want to eat. So, we’ll keep coming back!“

“It was a small place where it is understaffed. The atmosphere was fair typical family owned Chinese restaurant. The food was quite good to my surprise. The dim sum was hot and above average the price was extremely reasonable. It was our first time there. We spent $45 per couple including tips of 20% for the value is the best I’ve seen in the South Bay and the food was definitely better than many other dim sum restaurants.“

“been coming here for years since i was a kid with my mom, its always had good food and good prices. some items are oily but delicious. the staff are not very talkative, but they have always been very fast and overall nice people whenever I go.
Not a lot of seating, more of a to-go restaurant.
I feel some items stand out more, the fried shrimp balls and the chive balls are my favorite“

“Food: Happy Hour till 12AM; very nice option for after a long overtime in the end of the day. They offer mini size (half of regular portion), yet still pretty filling for female.
We got the cheese backed fish rice and black pepper beef stir fried noodles. The flavors are really good!
Ambiance: family style and casual
Service: owner is super efficient and friendly! Very helpful even at their busy hours. Bring cash to save 3% credit card fee! They no require tips!“

“The service sucks, if you're not speaking the same language, good luck getting taken care of in a timely manner. I guess when it's the same day in and day out, you're just fed up with customers 😒
The food is still great, been going here since they opened. The prices in the last few months have jumped drastically, and its $15 for a combo box, I remember when it was $8.
I still remember that you could also sit and eat inside before Covid.
The portions of the dim sum, are huge, and packed full with shrimp, pork or whatever you choose.
Overall, I'm still going back here, as the food is fantastic 😋“

“We came here expecting a quick meal and accidentally found a comfort-food headquarters.
The beef stew noodle soup is unreal — rich broth, tender beef that basically surrenders the moment you look at it, and noodles with that perfect springy bite. My kids, who normally treat dinner like a negotiation, asked for seconds. That alone should earn this place a Michelin star in the Parent Olympics.
Everything tastes like the kind of cooking you get at a relative’s house… if that relative had decades of Cantonese kitchen experience and no patience for shortcuts. Warm flavors, clean broth, not greasy, and deeply satisfying.
If you grew up eating Cantonese food, this hits the nostalgia button.
If you didn’t, congratulations — you just unlocked a new comfort food.
We will absolutely be back… mostly because my kids have already decided we live here now.“
