“Been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time. We came by during happy hour. Food was fantastic, happy hour prices are great.

We ordered:
Mock one $8 - guave nector, fresh lime, simple syrup, lavender, non alcoholic sparkling rose. Very tasty wife enjoyed it.

Root beer float $6 - hank's root beer & lots of vanilla ice cream

Old bay kettle chips $2

Fresh oysters $2 ea. - Rose mignonette, tomato ponzu, itso hot sauce. Delicious & fresh oysters

Dungeness crab slider $10 ea. - very good, bread was nicely toasted, a bit small though.

Tinned wild California sardines $10 - this was delicious, the sauce was warm and tasty. Highly recommended.

Seasonal burrata $12 - slow roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic cloves, basil pesto, saba. another great dish. We added toasted bread points + $8

Everything was delicious. Wished the crab slider was a little larger for $10. Otherwise this place is amazing for happy hour, didn't get to try any cocktails but for $10 happy hour prices, I will next time.

Service was a little bit slow, but understandable as there seemed to be only one person serving & taking orders and there were a few tables occupied.“

“We were visiting with our travel trailer on vacation in the area from Elk Grove, CA. We were looking for an upscale dining experience and came across Rosy's at the Beach when we Googled upscale restaurants near us. We went on their website, decided we liked it and made a reservation. The food was delicious! The ambiance was great too. I felt like I was in a restaurant on the ocean. I had one of their signature cocktails and it even came in a cool fish glass. We will definitely be returning when we come back here!“

“We contacted La Hacienda to inquire about their banquet room for a reservation of 100 people. Brandon is banquet coordinator. He was extremely responsive and helpful in planning the event. For the buffet, you are able to choose 3 entrees. We choose beef fajitas, chili verde and chicken enchiladas. There were also many other options we could have picked. The banquet room is private and upstairs. There is also an elevator. During the event, each guest went through the buffet line and got a delicious salad, rice, beans, all 3 entrees (if they wanted) and tortillas. There were also chips and salsa on the tables. 3 types of sodas were includes in pitchers and a large water caraf was set out. In the banquet room there is also bathroom just for banquet guests. Servers come and take drink orders. Guests are allowed to return to the buffet for seconds. It was a wonderful, easy experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. The service was great. I truly thankful I chose this restaurant for my event.“

“Great food selection, our party were overwhelmed with choices so we went with the garlic noodles with shrimp, ribs, hot and sour soup, and alot more. The flavors are rich with garlic from Gilroy so we enjoyed that very much. Everyone thought the garlic butter noodles were the best, although it took the waiters around 5 mins to acknowledge us. Aside from that great food!“

“Mr. Elay opened the door for us, even though he was closed or closing, and told us to take our time. Thank you for a great customer service! Very convenient too, we don’t have to drive to San Jose to get an asian filipino frozen breakfast like tocino and longanisa and pandesal. Highly recommend! God bless!“

“Great delicious tasting food. Have eaten here a few times now trying different main dishes, appetizers and sides; they have all been delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful and were even kind enough to check what level of heat in the spices we preferred in our curry. We tried both the mango and malai Crown Kulfi ice creams today which were full of flavor and creamy. There’s lots of dishes to choose from including desserts. Highly recommend.“

“I’m so glad they opened a branch in Gilroy. The food is flavorful without being greasy, which I really appreciate. Some Chinese food can feel heavy or leave an oily aftertaste, but that definitely wasn’t the case here.

We ordered the Mongolian beef, which was delicious with a rich, smoky flavor. The salted fish fried rice was also very good. I think adding a little more salted fish would make the flavor stand out even more and take it to the next level.

We also tried the vegetable chop suey and the salt and pepper pork tenderloin, and both dishes were excellent. The staff were amazing as well, especially Bill, who never failed to check on us and ask if we needed anything throughout our meal.

Overall, it was a great experience. I hope more people support this restaurant so they can continue to grow and stay in business.“
