I love this place. Service is always friendly. I've had a few items on the menu from various visits, but my go-to are the Nachos Asada. These are hands down the best nachos in Watsonville easy. They're Loaded, you get plenty, and they're so eloquently assembled. Melted shredded cheese, not cheese sauce. Definitely a must try. Order them as an appetizer to share but you will probably just want to eat them all as your meal.
Had not been here in a while. Service not as good as i remember. Waitress failed to return to refill our Cafe de olla. She was not busy. Just laughing and gossiping with other employees at counter. Oh well, there went her tip. Chile relleno was delicious as was the bean sope and handmade corn tortillas. The birria not so yummy. Tasted more like carne en su jugo. Food was a bit cold. Best Menudo I’ve had in my life. I know that may seem like a very bold statement, but it’s really unmatched. They serve it only on the weekends and at a limited quantity, best way to down a bowl of menudo is with a nice cold Modelo. It’s a beautiful Red menudo paired with all its condiments and your choice of flour or corn tortillas, I don’t eat menudo often but when I do I come here!
