Stopped by a month ago and has been the best find ever, we came back again because it’s such a lovely restaurant. The food is amazing, from the handmade pasta and the flavorful sauces to the delicious and authentic entrees. But another favorite has been the hospitable service and staff. Stumbled on il vecchio by chance and really enjoyed the food and service. Small point, but never had an Italian tomato sauce served with garlic bread before - great idea 💡
The first things we noticed was the ambiance and beautiful decor in the restaurant. There were many pastas to choose from and I was having difficulties deciding, but the waiter made some excellent suggestions.
We ordered the caesar salad and foccocia bread for starters. The dressing on the salad tasted homemade and had the right amount of savory and creaminess. The fococcia was soft and springy which paired well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
