“I had the chicken noodle soup and my friend had a curry noodle soup. Both were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Shrimp spring rolls were ginormous. Came in last night in the place was packed, no seats, left and had Mexican food. Tonight, one table free, and I enjoyed my dinner.“

“Funky little diner, second time we stopped here for a very late breakfast. Service is very homey, mom taking orders (helps if you speak some Spanish) and son running the show (no language barriers there). Ingredients are standard, gluten free is not a thing here but she got a fantastic lettuce wrap for her burger so it's all good. My corned beef hash was home made, not out of the can, and the potatoes are proper crispy. This one stays on our recommendation list for a super casual experience.“

“All food we ordered was amazing… It actually looked so good we wanted to take pictures but didn’t because we just enjoyed it. 😊 Our party ordered the rooster sandwich with sweet potato fries, onion rings, garlic, fries, wings, and a pepperoni pizza. We all shared because it was so good! Highly recommend from two adults and two teen / high school boys with big appetites! Great atmosphere and service as well.“

“First time at this place. Very welcoming atmosphere. Clean and open. We were helped right away. The food came fairly quickly and it was delicious. I had a bento box with sashimi and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The waitress was very efficient and easy to talk with. Overall a great experience and I will definitely come back.“

“We enjoyed dinner at Grillin & Chillin Alehouse. We started with sharing a pretzel. It was ok. The bread was fresh and soft, however the portion wasn't large. The mustard was tasty, the cheese wasn't great. For mains, I had a veggie calzone and my husband had a bacon avocado burger. The calzone was better than I expected. It had a lot of cheese and a good amount of veggies. There was a nice amount of spinach, which I think was put in uncooked and softened with the heat inside. My husband thought the burger was very good. He said the beef was high quality. There was a lot of avocado which was actually guacamole. They have lots of TV screens with different games.“

I had two pieces of pizza by the slice mushroom and vodka sauce
He ordered the bahn mi and a side of veggies
I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie

The good:

The mushroom slice had a lovely mushroom flavor
My husband’s sandwich also had really great flavor
The brownie was simultaneously the fudgiest and cakiest brownie I’ve ever had. And was rich without being overly so.

The meh:

The pizza slices were kind of cold. The texture was… not great
I would be interested to see how the pizza would be if you ordered a full pie, assuming those were made to order. The crust is almost focaccia like and I could imagine fresh they’d be amazing.
I ordered the vodka slice for the sole purpose that it came with ricotta, which I love. There were two very small dollops on a fairly large “slice”
(Think slightly larger school lunch “slice”). So I was a little sad at my perceived lack of ricotta.

The mixed veggies were also just okay. I understand wanting to showcase your farm to table vibes but I don’t really need to eat parts of the top sprouts of a carrot or the stringy root of the radishes. I used to garden, I loved my fresh veggies, I cut off the bits that were less pleasant to eat. It’s okay, we won’t think less of your veggies for it. They also could have done with just a little longer cooking. The carrots were pretty firm and I don’t mind a little firmness in my veggies they were just a tad underdone.

All in all it was pretty good and a quick pit stop on our way through!“
