The new Grove is the same and not the same as before. The food offerings a re different, focusing on pizza. We had the short rib sharable that was almost inedible. The ribs had been cooked for a long time and very very chewy with a funky taste. The chopped wedge salad was good and the wood fired mushroom, just ok. The soda machine did not provide most selections. The only available options were Coke, Mr Pibb and Fanta orange.
I really wish they would post ahead of time what type of music will be played when they have a DJ. I was there this evening and was told that they cater toward a “certain vibe,” which was more country and slower-beat music.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere tonight felt pretty boring 😴. There wasn’t really anyone on the dance floor, people seemed to keep leaving, and I overheard several other guests making similar comments.

I had two pieces of pizza by the slice mushroom and vodka sauce
He ordered the bahn mi and a side of veggies
I also got a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie
The good:
The mushroom slice had a lovely mushroom flavor
My husband’s sandwich also had really great flavor
The brownie was simultaneously the fudgiest and cakiest brownie I’ve ever had. And was rich without being overly so.
