We found this store on a trip back home from the outlets. And we're so glad we did. The store has so many different fruits, olive oils, and seasonings. Mr. Don has a great personality. Hes super funny.
While traveling through Pacheco Pass Hwy, I stopped by the market to buy some Garlic Chips. I was delighted by how kind Don and his grandson were. Don generously handed out free candy and honey sticks by having me guess where the fruit candy was under some clear cup, and we played a song trivia game where every artist I guessed right earned me a honey stick. He truly made the trip back home a fun and memorable experience.
Good stopping point in Gilroy area for garlic ice cream and local produce. This time of the year - corn was very reasonably priced, other times of year it’s likely other produce. Rest of the produce is slightly higher priced than grocery stores - but it’s very fresh and super tasty probably because it never had to hit a cold storage. Restrooms are very clean and owners are very pleasant to speak with.
