“honestly its one of the better Indian spots around here, ive been three times now and it keeps getting better. we came in last friday with no reservation thinking itd be dead but it was packed, still got a table in like ten minutes. the service was really on point, the guy even remembered what i drank the last time i was there which i thought was a nice touch. i always get their lamb saagwala and its somehow consistently super tender, the gravy isnt watery or boring like some places. my friend got the chicken tikka biryani and i had food envy of how aromatic the rice was, honestly might switch it up next time. this is just easy to recommend because everything feels made with care and nothing is too greasy or heavy. yeah definitely going back soon.“

It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. “My husband & I stumbled upon Cocoa Vino while traveling through the area, and just over an hour before closing. The vibe on a Friday night couldn’t be more perfect! The wine was superb! And the hospitality of the owner, Rodney, was above & beyond! We’re so grateful to have accidentally found this gem in the middle of Capitola Village, and we can’t wait until we’re able to visit again.

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“Very good overall. Pizza is consistently to my liking - thin bubbly crust, not too heavy on the toppings. If you love Oak & Rye, Del Poppolo, Manresa, Bantam then this is closer to those than not. Excellent Caesar salad, and the fried appetizer (usually green beans or cauliflower) is always spot on.

I’m not huge on dessert, especially brownies, but the brown butter gelato, and the brownie a la mode, are worth eating.

And the service is always friendly.

February 2026 - still going strong. Caesar remains one of the best three in town. My new favorite pizza here is the Nduja; have had Nduja pizza elsewhere but the combination of the black olives and arrested onions works very very well.“
