Great food, fun outdoor seating! We wanted a quick, but filling meal before heading to SFO and Ludwig's was perfect. In and out in well under an hour and the food was incredible.
Very authentic German food. Pork knuckles cooked perfectly moist with crispy skin. Schnitzel tender not oily with interesting pasta spatzle . Sausage sampler had very different style and flavor sausage. Must have pretzel. Safe room for Apple strudel and don’t share it! Amazing selection of beer on tap. Forgot to take pictures.

The quality of food here is excellent. The availability of some of the menu options also depends on whether you visit for lunch, dinner, or brunch. The dinner menu is a bit limited and I wish they added Weisswurst and Wiener Schnitzel (veal) back to the dinner menu. But overall, dining at Ludwig’s is a great experience. My favorites are the Jägerschnitzel and the Currywurst. They also have a great selection of beers, of course, and the cocktail options are great as well.Parking:...read full review
