“Ate here a few weeks ago while family was in town, and was very happy with the experience. Just barely ordered before Happy Hour ended (or was it Super Happy Hour? I don't recall!). While I wasn't really all that hungry, I opted for the fish and chips, because it's my goto for testing this type of place on a first visit. It was HUGE fillet, with crispy breading that was properly fried. I almost couldn't finish it, which is odd for me. Could have used a lot more lemon, as one piece doesn't do much, but that's such a minor issue. The service was great, even though our server was literally on her first shift, and being shadowed by another staff member. All in all it was a great experience.“

“My friend was hyping this place up so I decided to see if he spoke some truth to his statements. It didn't disappoint, but it didn't hit it out of the park either. Interior is very presentable. Clean and new. There are a lot of choices to pick from, but you get a limited quantity per category. You have their base, two base toppings, two scoops of protein, five toppings, two sauces (unfortunate), and then two sprinkles. The taste of the fish by itself is okay. Sauce is really good though. I was surprised at how much it was (about $3 more than what I'm used to paying) but their portions are very generous. I could not finish my bowl in one sitting when I always do. Hopefully the next time I come back, I'd find my go-to recipe!“
“I visited during a company outing host by a local corporation. We were treated to aspread that allowed a taste of almost everything on the menu. The descriptions are accurate, and the ingredients all tasted fresh. I would definitely bring friends and family there on a personal trip.“

“I can't believe I've lived around this bar for decades and never visited until now. They look closed and a bit obscure, and it's a bit hidden in a small, dark corner of a small complex. But check this! - Friendly, cute bartender. I was digging her tattoos, too! - Good service - Adequate music, where it's lively but you can still talk - Large selection of whiskey and beer - Friendly patrons I've been to dive bars where the patrons look extremely sad (think Barney & alcoholics in the Simpsons). I half expected this place to be similar, but it wasn't at all. This has an unpretentious feel, without the usual griminess. It's actually kinda cute. I'll be back!“
“Bogarts is a great neighbourhood bar with a nice casual ambiance, highly dedicated and friendly staff, and very reasonably priced cocktails and beer. I usually go on Saturday nights for karaoke and the KJ (Doug) has a great song selection. Some of the singers were so talented! Will be going back 100 %.“

Lady very sassy said one minute I will be right back I had to wait a little bit and then out of nowhere came back and said in a very sassy voice as if I was being disrespectful and said "can I get a motherfucking order!" “Ok. So, this is an older crowd for sure but I had the best time here. The band was great and everyone was dancing - recipe for a great night. The bar had two bartenders that Friday night . Plenty of seating area but I didn't check out the restroom situation so idk. I would go back“
“Fun and friendly place with an eclectic crowd! Even though this was our first time here, the DJ who was running karaoke greeted us and asked if we wanted to participate (we were happy to just hang out, but next time for sure). My husband enjoyed his Blue Moon with a fresh orange garnish and my vodka soda was nice and strong. The place was clean and they had decor up for the holidays. Would come back for sure!“

“Oh, Kirbs... This is long overdue; I've been coming here for a while now. Kirby's is a very chill bar in the Irvington area where you'll most likely have a pretty damn good time. Drinks are made well, beer taps are squeaky clean, and bartenders are friendly and quick. They have a great selection of hard alcohol, mixers, liquors, beer, seltzer, and they even have baby bottles of wine (last time I checked). Food is good, too. It's bar food, but I've had the chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, pizza, and the corn dog and they've all been good. The kitchen is clean and they put out food pretty quickly (depending on how many orders they have). Kirby's has a ton of TVs; you'll always find something on to watch, there is a pool table, poker nights, comedy shows, and darts. In the semi-outdoor area there are some arcade games that are pretty fun, too. Women's bathroom is well-lit, clean, and replenished frequently (and has a full length mirror so you can check all the goods). I can't speak for the men's, but I've never heard any complaints.If you like a quiet, low-key ambiance that's romantic and chic this probably isn't the place for you. I like those kinds of places too, don't get me wrong, but there's also something about the Kirby's atmosphere that keeps me coming back. And that something is the people.“
“Always a favorite go-to for the comfort of Korean fried chicken wings & beer, while the sport games play on one of the many big TV’s. Music can be a hit or miss, sometimes it’s nostalgic American pop, other times it’s new & trendy K-pop. It definitely livens-up at night with their late hours. Food is always good here, highly suggest coming in a group because you just might be full before you know it!“

Definitely recommended for a weekend siesta with friends or a weekday quickie before heading home. “It does a good job for what it is. Good food selection (e.g. garlic fries), quality is acceptable. Reasonable beer selection. The real reason to go here is the proximity to north bayshore and the atmosphere. Lots of seating including heaters for outside.“
