“Been hitting Normandy House a few weeks while on a temp gig in Santa Clara—in from cowboy country where a solid where a still shot is sometimes mandatory after a long day.

The Pareto thing always cracks me up: 20% of people do 80% of the work, and 80% of the gripes come from the other 20% like some clown reviews here. But everybody here has been super cool to this out-of-towner.

Trin especially—she makes a killer Long Island, best around and always keeps things chill.

Great spot, 5 stars easy. Gonna miss it when I head home.“

“We first found Bogarts last year searching for a sports bar while in town for a 49ers game. We are so glad we found this place! We are here again a year later! Darlene is awesome! Staff is amazing, customers are friendly and we enjoy coming here for the music, people, drinks and atmosphere! We connected with regulars we met last year! “My partner and I have finally found a place to watch early morning English Championship matches in San Jose!

Jack’s coffee and tea is pretty darn good and their ginger beer is A+. The staff is really warm and welcoming. They put a couple of TVs on just for us to watch the matches. We were the only folks in the place for the early morning matches and the midday matches are pretty quiet as well.

Extra bonus for it being pet friendly! Our dog was super pleased with his whole family sports adventure.

Next time, we may order breakfast or lunch to be delivered.“

We had to go up front and order our drinks and food , then pick it up when ready and it’s just put on the side no contact with anyone and yet they spect a Tip? I don’t think so!! “Great bar, it's 1130pm and full warning me and my son (12) are waiting for the bathroom. So be aware the bathrooms are limited.

The couple heavy petting in the bathroom line let is cut which was very nice.

The fernet shots are poured strong. 10/10 a little loud for me and my 12 year old.

Edit: To the owners my sons loves the stained glass. That why I took him. 5/5 great place.“

The cheesesteaks are great and thanks to Issac and Mike for making the magic happen behind the grill as always. I hope they bring Julie back for football Sundays. She was such a sweetheart with a wonderful one of a kind sparkling personality. We happened across this place on Google, and were skeptical that any restaurant could succeed in offering such a ridiculously wide array of different cuisines under one roof. I mean, how can you expect one kitchen to craft quality Enchiladas, Fried Rice, Spaghetti, Prime rib, and chicken Wings at the same time??

I ordered Mongolian Beef and a Strawberry milkshake. I’m not ashamed of my choices. It was better than it had any business being. I will be coming back.“

I liked that it wasn’t overly crowded, so we could actually have a conversation without yelling across the table. The drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the food was better than I expected for a pub. Nothing overly fancy, just a comfortable place with a good atmosphere. I’d definitely consider coming back sometime, especially if I’m looking for a casual night out with friends.“
