“Been hitting Normandy House a few weeks while on a temp gig in Santa Clara—in from cowboy country where a solid where a still shot is sometimes mandatory after a long day.

The Pareto thing always cracks me up: 20% of people do 80% of the work, and 80% of the gripes come from the other 20% like some clown reviews here. But everybody here has been super cool to this out-of-towner.

Trin especially—she makes a killer Long Island, best around and always keeps things chill.

Great spot, 5 stars easy. Gonna miss it when I head home.“

“We had breakfast here the morning after a company event, the food was surprisingly excellent!

I had the egg white asparagus mushroom frittata, with side salad and home style potatoes, so delicious and you could tell the ingredients were really fresh, from the asparagus to the mushrooms, was very happily surprised. My husband had the chilaquiles which were also delicious, the plates came out very quickly and were hot, just a lot of attention to detail. Thanks to Chef Wayne Sergio and Ernesto! And our server Nadia was very helpful, continued checking on us and super friendly and sweet!

The reviews are really off, not sure why so low, thy have a new chef the last 2 years maybe that’s why.

We plan to come back here just for breakfast even if we’re not staying at the hotel! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast with a lot of options on the menu! Kudos to the hotel for training staff well and picking an excellent chef.“

“Went there for a pool 🎱 tournament, and set up was nice. They have two nice Diamond pool tables that doesn't have obstructions. They serve food from a canopy tent area in the back that serves tacos, chicken tenders, fries, burritos, and other things. Had the tenders and fries, which were a bit salty for my taste. Maybe ask for less or no salt next time.

“Zone 8 Bar & Grill is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for an affordable steak date in the Bay. And I really mean it! They have a $25 prime rib special every Thursday (5pm - 11pm) and Sunday (3pm - 9pm), and it was really good for the price. You get a 12 oz cut, with roasted potatoes and veggies. The meat was juicy, tender, portion was huge. It would easily cost $50+ in other places.
We also tried 2 cocktails, Pueblo Mexican Candy Shot and the Spicy Cucumber Margarita. Both were delicious, but I personally liked the Pueblo more, cause the flavor was more complex.
Overall, fun vibe, next to a casino, good price, good food & drinks!!! Definitely worth a visit!“

“Such a great pizza place! Hosted a birthday party here and Prince was so kind. The pizza was made so well. I thought I ordered the right amount of pizza for guests but people inhaled it and we ended up ordering more. Some people even ordered pizza to go because the flavors were so good!“

“I had my sons 1st birthday party at Stanley’s and the venue is truly perfect the staff was so accommodating and on top of handling the food and beverage and helping with setting up everything. “We went to this place after our neighbor recommended it. It is your friendly neighborhood bar where everything is inexpensive but people are nice and friendly. They are open until late which is a plus. We loved the tacos and the hot sauce that came with it. They have a pool table and dart board and we loved playing both.“
