“Went there for a pool 🎱 tournament, and set up was nice. They have two nice Diamond pool tables that doesn't have obstructions. They serve food from a canopy tent area in the back that serves tacos, chicken tenders, fries, burritos, and other things. Had the tenders and fries, which were a bit salty for my taste. Maybe ask for less or no salt next time.

Bartender was attentive to everyone, and poured the drinks well.“

“John , ray , Deedee , Roxanne , Bella have all been rockstars . I’m brand new to Cali and this was the first bar I’ve ever been to for a pit stop . I’ve never been to a different one . These people are hands down bad ass and I’ve never felt so happy to be at a spot where I thought I was a stranger . The regulars here make me feel like I’m home . I love this bar and I greatful for everyone I’ve met . I don’t know if I’ll be here permanently yet or not but this will always be a staple to me even if I’m in Cali or not . Swung by after landing back in the Bay Area and got some food and beer to drink. Tried the smash burger and it was good. The Thai crack wings were our favorite. Super spicy but had such good flavor. I just wished I had rice there to eat with the wings.

Staff here were attentive and nice. Place is super spacious with lots of tables to sit. Plenty of parking as well. We'll have to come back to try some of their HH deals.“

“A pretty nice bar with complimentary pool tables around! On the weekday nights, it's pretty quiet and there are supposed to be some events such as trivia night or even karaoke. However, those did not appear even past the time they scheduled. What they do have is a really good jukebox they have they can play a lot of different songs in English. The pool tables were stocked well and we had a lot of fun playing with them! It all feeds into the very calm atmosphere on these weekday nights at the bar! Definitely will come back here on these quieter nights! I can't imagine what it's going to be like for the super bowl in just a few weeks...“

“We went to this bar-slash-sports grill after class at GSB. We were a fairly big group, and it was already quite late at night. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed by the time we arrived, so we just grabbed drinks and spent some time hanging out.

The place was very lively, with loud music and a high-energy vibe. Even though it was a weeknight, it was still pretty busy—probably because it’s located in a student-heavy area. Parking was easy to find nearby, though I’m not sure how it gets on weekends.

I ordered an espresso martini, which was pretty strong and well made. I didn’t get a chance to try any food, but I imagine it’s standard bar or sports-grill fare—nothing fancy, but solid for casual bites.

“Been hitting Normandy House a few weeks while on a temp gig in Santa Clara—in from cowboy country where a solid where a still shot is sometimes mandatory after a long day.

The Pareto thing always cracks me up: 20% of people do 80% of the work, and 80% of the gripes come from the other 20% like some clown reviews here. But everybody here has been super cool to this out-of-towner.

Trin especially—she makes a killer Long Island, best around and always keeps things chill.

Great spot, 5 stars easy. Gonna miss it when I head home.“

“We had breakfast here the morning after a company event, the food was surprisingly excellent!

I had the egg white asparagus mushroom frittata, with side salad and home style potatoes, so delicious and you could tell the ingredients were really fresh, from the asparagus to the mushrooms, was very happily surprised. My husband had the chilaquiles which were also delicious, the plates came out very quickly and were hot, just a lot of attention to detail. Thanks to Chef Wayne Sergio and Ernesto! And our server Nadia was very helpful, continued checking on us and super friendly and sweet!

The reviews are really off, not sure why so low, thy have a new chef the last 2 years maybe that’s why.

We plan to come back here just for breakfast even if we’re not staying at the hotel! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast with a lot of options on the menu! Kudos to the hotel for training staff well and picking an excellent chef.“

They also serve traditional hot dishes on some Fridays that will transport you to the old world with each bite.“
