“We recently visited Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Saratoga and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

We ordered the Panang Curry with Brown Rice, and both were prepared very well. The curry had a rich, creamy texture with a nice balance of sweetness, spice, and authentic Thai flavors. The vegetables were fresh, and the overall dish was satisfying and comforting. The brown rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the flavorful curry.

While we genuinely enjoyed the meal, we’ve had slightly better Panang Curry at a few Thai restaurants in Cupertino, where the flavors were a bit more bold and complex. That said, Bai Tong still serves a delicious and authentic version that’s well worth trying, especially if you’re in the Saratoga area.

Overall, the combination of good food, friendly service, and a pleasant ambiance made for a very enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for quality Thai food in Saratoga, Bai Tong is definitely worth a visit. “This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“I hadn’t been to Siam Bistro in ages. No reason in particular. Decided to try their new location since I can literally walk there. Absolutely did not disappoint. Best Asian north of I10. Pros: Food is amazing. You can taste the freshness and ingredients. Especially in those sauces. And the spring rolls are to die for. Sushi and sashimi were perfectly cut and prepared and plating was beautiful. Also, service was on point. For being in that location for only a week you could tell they have good leadership and training because everything was very smooth and fast. Even after a big rush of tables, ticket times were very fast. Cons: The new location is very intimate. Read, not a lot of seats. And that’s fine. But this is not a location for a big group and once they are busy it’s filled immediately. Go early or call ahead. Great for a date night or double date though.“

Unlike other Thai restaurant, a veggie dish come with tofu as your choice of protein but here it's either vegetable or tofu. If you want a mix then it's a extra. I think this should be changed.“
