Bistro Siam Reviews
thai red curry is good but looked very oily
We walked in for a takeout order on a Thursday evening. There was just one table of customers. The hostess greeted us kindly and took our order. The food took around 10 minutes. Cashew Nut with chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, as was Pad Krapow (Sweet Basil) with fried tofu. Our food was satisfactory, but nothing special. Would be open to trying it again, though it's a bit pricey, considering jasmine rice is a $3 add-on.
People/staff are real friendly. Food is cook to order, so it's fresh.

Bistro Siam is a Thai restaurant that offers a homecooked taste to its dishes. The menu features a variety of options, including Thai ice tea, yellow curry with chicken, pineapple fried rice with tofu, pad Thai with tofu, and green curry with chicken. The restaurant is known for its generous portions and authentic flavors. The owner, who also serves as the server, is kind and attentive to customers. It is a good place for lunch, especially given the many Silicon Valley tech offices nearby. Recently, customers have enjoyed dishes like Crab Fried Rice and Pad See Ew, which they consider some of the best in town. However, some dishes, such as Pad See Ew, can be spicier than expected, so diners should be mindful of the spice level. The yellow curry, in particular, has a potent spice level, which some find surprisingly spicy despite being told it’s not very spicy. The atmosphere is pleasant, and regular customers appreciate the tasty and worthwhile meals. Overall, Bistro Siam provides a good dining experience with friendly service and authentic Thai flavors.
