Really good service and the food is amazing
Excellent balance of flavor and texture of pad Thai noodles. Superbly tender beef curry.

A delicious hidden gem! The staff is super nice and hardworking and the food is truly wonderful. The red curry is exceptional; I’ve traveled around SE Asia and the red curry here can go toe to toe with any I’ve had. I highly recommend Indochine!

Indochine is a versatile restaurant that caters to various dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, dairy-free, onion-free, and garlic-free. The curries, chicken dishes, and lunch specials with soup, salad, and spring rolls are highly praised. Customers enjoy the friendly service and the wide range of noodle dishes, such as Honey Walnut Prawns and Combo Fried Rice. The restaurant offers a cozy dine-in experience and a convenient takeout option, with the Velvet Walnut Shrimp being a standout dish.
The restaurant is known for its calm and relaxed atmosphere of a family-run place, served by the owner herself. Customers have praised the good quality, freshly cooked, and nicely presented dishes, especially the vegetarian options like hot and sour vegetarian soup, kumpao tofu, and Singapore noodles. The spicy sauce is also well-received, complementing the dishes and even plain jasmine rice.
The portions are generous, with many customers taking home leftovers after enjoying large set plates, soup, rice, and salad. While the prices may be a bit higher than typical for an informal lunch, the quality and variety of the dishes make it a worthwhile experience for Palo Alto midtown residents.
