“I went to this place a couple days ago I had their Beef pho here and its good the only thing is that I feel like they need to improve on is the pho broth and service. The pho broth seems like it needed more flavor and more fish sauce. And they did not give me a soup spoon until much later but other than that its a decent place to get a nice bowl of pho. Door Dash screwed up my order (not surprising) so after realizing that I was NOT going to get my Asian Box order delivered, I drove to the restaurant to place the order again. I spoke with Wendy, the Executive General Manager, and she was understanding, kind, and most importantly, professional. She immediately helped me with my order and expediated it so quickly, I should have just gone to the restaurant to place my order instead of relying on Door Dash. Also, I want add that their crew quickly put together 6 orders in 5 minutes. Go there if you want to be treated kindly and respectfully because fewer and fewer places nowadays seem to remember that service is just as important as food quality and taste.“

“I went to the first store in San Jose and it was one of my top to go places to eat! And when I knew that they opened another in Palo Alto, I wanted to try this location out and it didn't disappoint! It was as amazing as the one in San Jose and the portions are really big and the taste is amazing. I was surprised how much I liked the beef with tomato rice. It's really different than other Vietnamese places I went before. But my to go dish is definitely the fried sticky rice with chicken! The sticky rice is so good and the chicken has amazing flavor but I wish there was more meat. However they charge you 18% service charge in the bill right away even if you don't have a big party. So the overall price is higher than you're normal meals!“

It feels bland inside due to the choice of colors and there are hardly any decorations. Ordered the BBQ pork with everything and added a fried egg since that’s my go to. Bread was perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts like mouth like some other places, and the flavors of the pickled vegetables and the pork were amazing! “The pho is slightly above average, but the service is above and beyond expectations and better than any other pho places we've experienced. Their red spicy sauce is different from sriracha sauce but very good, but if you want the regular Sriracha sauce, you can ask for the sauce packets. Note that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity, and it's correctly based on the pretax amount, so it's actually less than the 20% I usually give. The fried chicken pieces are a bit scrawny with too much fish sauce and the dessert drink beans were whole and not that sweet. But again, the service was excellent and very impressive.“

The sandwich was really good and it was loaded with vegetables. It tasted so much like fish I had to ask the owner what the fish was made of. As it turned out the vegan fish is made room tofu and imported from Taiwan. I know firsthand that Taiwan is known for making mock meats from soy that taste like the “real” thing.The owners appear to be upgrading the restaurant.
