Most recently, I ordered the pho ga (chicken pho) just as it is and it was flavorful, full of good size chicken pieces, ample noodles, and the broth was perfect. Toppings on the side were plentiful (basil, lemon, sprouts, etc.). I also ordered a soda chanh (lemon soda) and some spring rolls. Again, never an issue with the freshness or quantity provided. Just loved it and highly recommended you pay this restaurant a visit if you're in Union City and are seeking a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. While I haven't tried the other meat/rice dishes they offer (since I typically only ordered pho), my other family members have and will attest that they are made well and are of sizeable portion. “I ordered their Bún bò Huế. It’s not as spicy as it looks but has an amazing flavor bomb. The only thing I was sad I didn’t see was the blood cubes, pork trotters/hocks that I usually enjoy in it. Other than that, the portion was generous for the price and I would definitely come back for it.

“Dropped in for some pho and really enjoyed the meal. The service was really great and friendly. Pho- quite delicious. I liked the quality of the goods, the mint and thai basil leaves were very impressive, so fresh and HUGE and tasted great. This place also served their bowls with limes which is funny because I've seen it becoming rarer, where lemons are being substituted and I'm the former so I appreciated that. The cuts of meat were these nice long strips, high quality.

I also got a banh xeo and that things was awesome. Whoever cooked it did so perfectly... nice crunch on the rim, juicy interior. The batter has coconut milk, so each bite is so flavorful. This was my favorite dish. Again, high quality meats and veggies, and huge! Good stuff. Also their coffee has a great condescended milk to coffee ratio, super sweet and rich yum“

“Definitely a gem. Had some delicious marinated steak and a Vietnamese coffee that tasted like it had more condensed milk than coffee. The steak sandwich was simple but so unbelievably delicious.

My only note is that the place could use some interior redecorating. The prices are amazing, however.“

I and my husband are vegetarian/eggitarian and we were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant with veg options especially Vietnamese rice noodles soup called pho (made with vegetable broth). It is called Do Chay on the menu (indicating no fish, meat, or chicken broth). The place is simple, clean, and bright. Our server was a nice and a caring person. The service was very good.
