“I've been going here every weekend and order the same item - chicken noodle soup (pho). It's always amazing and it's also healthy. They have a special spicy sauce that you can ask for and is (I believe) imported because I haven't been able to find it.The restaurant is always clean and is family owned. The owner works with his elderly parents and is a very nice guy. Would definitely recommend this place!“
“This Slanted Door location has quite a large dining room and outdoor patio space in the upscale Bishop’s Ranch shopping center in San Ramon. Blonde wood floors, marble tabletops, and black accents throughout. Definitely a good spot for celebrations, in addition to simply enjoying a nice dinner out.My husband and I dined with two friends, sharing six dishes family style between us—family style is the preferred method of ordering here. We started with the daikon rice cakes, which were one of the highlights of the meal for me!The texture was impressive: somewhat creamy, somewhat spongy, with the light pepperiness of the daikon radish. Another favorite for me was the wood-roasted and dry-aged duck. The duck was cooked to perfection, offering a bit of crunch with each bite of skin and a milder-than-most gaminess to the meat. Nice accompanying hoisin sauce as well. I also thought the shaking beef, served with a vibrant lime sauce, was delicious.Shaking beef has been a favorite of mine since I first tried it at Golden Garlic on the Peninsula years ago. I love how a good crust can seal in great prime rib flavor with every bite, and the Slanted Door’s was no exception. We also shared the stir-fried bok choy, cellophane noodles with gulf shrimp and Dungeness crab, and the shrimp and pork imperial rolls. Those were all good, but not as notable as the previous dishes. The cocktails were expertly made, offering unique versions on classic tiki cocktails, and it takes skilled bartenders to pull that off well. My Singapore Sling—Glendalough gin, benedictine, cherry heering, cointreau, fresh pressed pineapple, lime, angostura bitters—was a delight, and everyone enjoyed their first round picks. It did take a while for our waiter to come by, but he was an excellent server for the rest of our meal, making some recommendations and advising us on how much food to order.“
“If you're looking for the best Bahn Mi sandwich in the East Bay, you will find it here! The size, crispy pork and toppings are absolutely delicious. The Pho is wonderful too. The interior gives you fast food vibes but the service and food quality are not. I love this place.“
“I randomly stopped by this place on the way to the post office for a snack. I didn’t have any expectations but I am blown away by the food. Best Banh Mi I have ever had! The bread was baked to perfection, the ingredients were generous and delicious. I will definitely come back for more!“
“After searching for something comparable to the best Banh Mi I've tried, Relos has come close to this feat.Relos offers a delightful Banh Mi experience! While it may not surpass the taste of Cam Huong in Union City, Relos certainly holds its own in the realm of Vietnamese sandwiches.I ordered the Cold Cut (#1) and the Grilled Pork (#2), as well as the Banana Latte. The Banh Mi here provides a harmonious blend of flavors, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. One standout feature is the bread - soft yet with a satisfying crunch, elevating the overall texture of the sandwich. This attention to detail in the bread's consistency adds to the enjoyment of every bite. It leaves a lasting impression, compelling me to return for more. The Banana latte was interesting at first, but it left me wanting to drink more and more with every sip.The Owner, Linh, is very friendly and holds tremendous pride in his shop. He has gained another customer for sure! Thank you for all your insight during my time there. In conclusion, if you're craving a Banh Mi experience that comes close to the best, Relos is a worthy contender. With its flavorful offerings and enticing bread, it's a destination worth revisiting time and time again.“
“This place gets popping on the weekends! We came for some great Vietnamese food and definitely got that and then some! There was parties of people coming in and the place got very lively! The food here is great, Service was great and the energy was wonderful!“
“The Best Vietnamese beef soup in all of San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasenton and Livermore. I drain all the soup from my #1.Parking: Over 30 parking spotsKid-friendliness: I hope the food would keep the kids in their chair. lol.Wheelchair accessibility: Roomy inside to do 360“
“My First time trying Pho and I have to say great for a rainy day!My baby and I got chicken soup and some garlic noodles... ??And my mommy got the steak.Customer service was on point .Will return ?Parking: Because there are so many great shops here, parking can be a bit crazy sometimesKid-friendliness: Children friendly options available“
“I had an exceptional experience at this establishment! While parking was a bit challenging, it was absolutely worth the effort. The food was beyond amazing, and the customer service was top-notch, earning a solid five stars in my book. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!“
“We stopped for a quick meal after shopping all evening. I chose my usual (grilled pork with rice Vermicelli) and my cousins all ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Pho. My order came with a small bowl of a very flavorful broth. We also got one order of fresh summer rolls with shrimp. The food was delicious and plentiful. My cousins have been here before and they love it.The staff were very kind. We arrived about 30 mins before the restaurant closed, but they welcomed us warmly and made no fuss.??“
“I recently dined at Ao Sen and I must say, I was blown away by the experience. The pho was absolutely amazing - flavorful broth, tender noodles, and generous portions of meat and veggies. The spring rolls were so fresh and amazing! The new decor added a modern touch to the ambiance, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. But what truly stood out was the food. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. And let's talk about the service - outstanding is an understatement. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Ao Sen. If you're looking for a restaurant with amazing pho, new decor, amazing food, and great service, look no further. This place is convincing in every way. I highly recommend giving it a try. 10/10 would recommend! Definitely coming back when I'm in town!“
“This is a highly recommended local restaurant we should support and treasure! I went there this afternoon for a quick lunch and ordered a small Combo Pho and a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake. For the Combo Pho, the meat quality is great and sufficient and the pho amount is just right! Most importantly is that the soup is hot and you won’t get thirsty after having their soup. At $12.50 price, that’s a great price in Tri-Valley since pandemic. Also, I’d ordered a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake as the side of my pho. The shrimp cake is crispy and full of shrimp flavor and I can cut it into 9 bite size and it only cost me $7.00 only!“
“Stopped by here for lunch before going back home from a wedding on the previous night. Very good Beef Ball pho that hit the spot for me. The broth was hot and tasty. Beef balls were delicious. But the hot sauce on the table was Chin-Su brand, instead of the rooster brand sriracha, and I didn't like this one as much. Overall, I still had a good meal and I would come back.“
“Definitely get the lemongrass beef and grilled pork sandwiches and the marshmallows from hello kitty and get the V iced coffees the service is lovely the food is amazing and everything is very beautifully displayed; I need to come back and try more items like their bao and fresh rolls. Thank you especially to the staff for being so kind!“
“First off, let's just say I never knew an awesome Asian Food Hall in Pleasanton existed at Pacific Pearl Shopping Center! Viet Grill Express is located inside this Food Hall and they even serve Yomie's Yogurt in-store! Great place to grab a quick Vietnamese lunch if you're in the area or need a break from shopping down the road at Outlets down the road.*Nem Roll*Fried Chicken Wings (spicy)*BBQ Short Rib*Shaking Beef*Lemongrass Chicken w/ Sunny Side Up Egg*Red Heart Dragon Fruit Yogurt*Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt“
“I might be biased since this is my Aunt’s Restaurant. This is one of my go-to Vietnamese restaurants in the Bay Area that I can vouch that the broth is cooked with real bones and simmered for hours for flavors. Stop by if you’re in the area and give them a try. Alice and her staffs will make sure you are taken care of.“
“Good food. Service is good as long as the manager/owner is helping wait the tables. Parking can be really challenging, depending on what day and time it is. Usually the parking is hard to find on weekends and evenings.Parking: The location is at the corner of A St x Hesperian, next to BK and other stores so parking lot is full of patrons going to all the other businesses around“
“Only thing to complain about is the lack of a chili oil, and a fly that was just so attracted to me. I really like the cube meat they gave me, I genuinely really liked the cube meat. It's perfectly proportioned and it actually has flavor to it rather than just filler meat. This place is alright, I respect the simple sign they have for the place.“
“This place is excellent. Great food, great fast service and lots of seating. Even when it's packed for lunch hour, there's usually a table available so no wait time is clutch for a quick pop in. Delicious broth in the pho and awesome rice plates too. Feels cozy inside and I will keep coming back!“
“Impromptu visit as was in the area and decided on Pho Dublin for some fried eggroll and to try the crispy chicken with garlic noodles. VIETNAMESE EGGROLL (chả giò)Flavorful with a nice filling of ground pork, shrimp, veggies and nicely crisp and not oily...Wish places would offer larger pieces (and different) lettuce to wrap that eggroll and pickled daikon and carrots for that perfect bite.GARLIC NOODLES CRISP CHICKEN (Gà chiên dòn)Panko-coated, breast of chicken was simple atop garlic noodles. Buttery, garlicky, hint of oyster sauce, caramelized onions but didn't notice any cheese - good flavor but will opt for a different protein as the fried chicken with the buttery noodles made it a bit rich...a grilled shrimp or some shaken beef would be a good option for next time. Friend really enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich (Bánh Mì Gà Nướng) with extra cilantro and jalapeno. Pricing for this Vietnamese sandwich on the higher side. ** 4 STARS for items ordered **Overall, good visit with simple service. The female owner checked on us a couple of times which was nice. Credit cards accepted, take-out containers will cost you $0.50 eachPlenty of lot parking and located across from Country Waffles“
“Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food is amazing. They should plan on expanding their store because they will be very popular soon. Best Vietnamese food out in hayward. Service is fast cant complain. Prices are also great. Keep it up..“
“If only every Lee's sandwich spot was like this. That's the beauty with Lee's though, you never know what you're going to get at each location lol.Don't sleep on the breakfast sandwich with fresh banquettes. I know there's a popular bagel store next door but mix it up a little. You'll be surprised.“
“Visited here for lunch on a weekday with some coworkers. I've come here before a long while ago, but not recently. Attentive staff, and delicious food. Generous food portion for the regular bowl, and it was very filling. Restaurant appeared clean, orders taken within reason, and food came out quickly.“
“It’s a nice clean place, with great Pho. The quality of Pho soup was great as well as the quality. We ordered Pho with Pork wonton, chicken and shrimp. Although I liked the soup, what disappointed me was the broken wantons, all of them had the meat out of the wonton. We also ordered a side of grilled pork, which was also a disappointment. My suggestion if you are visiting here is to stick to Pho and order their typical dishes. The soup quantity and quality along with the noddle and meat would not disappoint you.I would rather not experiment here. But overall a good experience.I would want to go here again“
