“I love this Vietnamese restaurant and order for take -out almost every week.Highly recommend that you try the number #24 which has egg rolls, grilled pork over rice vermicelli. I always order that with Vietnamese iced coffee and jasmine green tea with boba.Other items on the menu like pad thad is excellent, too.Make a visit to try out the restaurant for yourself. You will be glad of the discovery of this wonderful place.“
“The staff here are so nice and attentive. I walked in on a weekday and was immediately greeted and seated. I ordered the spicy noodles and a vietnamese coffee. Not your traditional bun bo hue, very satisfying. It was a pretty hot day, and the staff turned on the fan for me!It looks like the vietnamese sandwiches are what this restaurant are known for (there was a steady flow of walk in and phone take out orders for sandwiches the entire time) so I'll be back to try that next.“
“I recently dined at Ao Sen and I must say, I was blown away by the experience. The pho was absolutely amazing - flavorful broth, tender noodles, and generous portions of meat and veggies. The spring rolls were so fresh and amazing! The new decor added a modern touch to the ambiance, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. But what truly stood out was the food. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. And let's talk about the service - outstanding is an understatement. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Ao Sen. If you're looking for a restaurant with amazing pho, new decor, amazing food, and great service, look no further. This place is convincing in every way. I highly recommend giving it a try. 10/10 would recommend! Definitely coming back when I'm in town!“
“Found this gem on the way to Yosemite. The Pho was delicious. The noodle is that the same kind as you would get in Vietnam but it was fine. Broth was tasty and the beef super tender. Iced coffee was good and not super sweet :) The mini kettle cakes were a fun surprise, chewy and tasty with the classic fish sauce.“
“Bay Area pho snob here. Saigon Cafe took us by surprise because one would never suspect to find a good pho restaurant in downtown Livermore. We both had the Pho Dac Biet which is described on the menu as '#15. Rare Steak, Brisket, Tendon, & Tripe' -- and I made it a combo for another $3 which came with an order of Shrimp Rolls and a soda of my choice. That's a steal and a deal. The broth was clear and very well seasoned. Not too sweet or salty -- just simmered with the right aromatics and beef bones for extra packed flavors. I did taste a slight hint of MSG but that can be common at Pho restaurants. The noodles were not overly cooked and still had a nice bounce in texture. We were surprised by how much meat was piled into each bowl. It was so filling (and I'm not a big meat eater by default) that I packed a lot of the meat leftover from our bowls to take home to my furry kid. Inside was spacious and could accommodate groups of almost all sizes. I'm willing to bet that the chefs are from San Jose. I'm a bit biased but I know the best cooks for Pho live or work in SJ :) Impressed all around for food, service, and prices. Bravo!“
“The Best Vietnamese beef soup in all of San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasenton and Livermore. I drain all the soup from my #1.Parking: Over 30 parking spotsKid-friendliness: I hope the food would keep the kids in their chair. lol.Wheelchair accessibility: Roomy inside to do 360“
“This is a highly recommended local restaurant we should support and treasure! I went there this afternoon for a quick lunch and ordered a small Combo Pho and a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake. For the Combo Pho, the meat quality is great and sufficient and the pho amount is just right! Most importantly is that the soup is hot and you won’t get thirsty after having their soup. At $12.50 price, that’s a great price in Tri-Valley since pandemic. Also, I’d ordered a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake as the side of my pho. The shrimp cake is crispy and full of shrimp flavor and I can cut it into 9 bite size and it only cost me $7.00 only!“
“Stopped by here for lunch before going back home from a wedding on the previous night. Very good Beef Ball pho that hit the spot for me. The broth was hot and tasty. Beef balls were delicious. But the hot sauce on the table was Chin-Su brand, instead of the rooster brand sriracha, and I didn't like this one as much. Overall, I still had a good meal and I would come back.“
“First off, let's just say I never knew an awesome Asian Food Hall in Pleasanton existed at Pacific Pearl Shopping Center! Viet Grill Express is located inside this Food Hall and they even serve Yomie's Yogurt in-store! Great place to grab a quick Vietnamese lunch if you're in the area or need a break from shopping down the road at Outlets down the road.*Nem Roll*Fried Chicken Wings (spicy)*BBQ Short Rib*Shaking Beef*Lemongrass Chicken w/ Sunny Side Up Egg*Red Heart Dragon Fruit Yogurt*Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt“
“This place is excellent. Great food, great fast service and lots of seating. Even when it's packed for lunch hour, there's usually a table available so no wait time is clutch for a quick pop in. Delicious broth in the pho and awesome rice plates too. Feels cozy inside and I will keep coming back!“
“If only every Lee's sandwich spot was like this. That's the beauty with Lee's though, you never know what you're going to get at each location lol.Don't sleep on the breakfast sandwich with fresh banquettes. I know there's a popular bagel store next door but mix it up a little. You'll be surprised.“
