“Relaxed, comfortable, has a lot of entertainment and has a contemporary feel. Spacious, not tightly packed.

Would be great for birthdays, events, or a date in my opinion!

Friendly and plentiful staff.

One big surprise to me, was the spring roll was a real one! Not fluffed and filled with noodles, or iceberg lettuce, or cabbage!

“This place isn’t very big, probably around 10 tables, but there’s a great variety of the menu. We didn’t have to wait long to be served, which was nice. They also have about five different sauces on the table, so you can easily change up the flavors.“

“Definitely a gem. Had some delicious marinated steak and a Vietnamese coffee that tasted like it had more condensed milk than coffee. The steak sandwich was simple but so unbelievably delicious.

My only note is that the place could use some interior redecorating. The prices are amazing, however.“

“I live in the mountains and this is always my first stop when I'm headed to the Bay Area. I've stopped here dozens of times over the years. The staff is consistently excellent. The food is consistently fresh and excellent. The store is small and clean, and the restrooms are always clean.“

The Bahn Mi was delicious and fresh, the bread was perfectly crunchy and soft. The spring rolls are wrapped very well and all of their ingredients are super fresh. “Delicious pho in a relaxed setting. Broth was rich with a deep flavor. This is where you should go for a special occasion. Loads of beef in the pho, along with very fresh ingredients. There were quite a few varieties of beef pho on the menu, from single beef vaieties all the way to loaded varieties that carried ingredients like tripe. I strongly recommend this restaurant.“

“Had the banh mi with grilled pork, and a Thai ice tea. The sandwich was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. It was the perfect size, at a good price. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. Since it's only 100 ft from the iron horse trail, it's a great place to stop for a break on a longer ride or walk. Added bonus is the bike rack in viewing distance from the cafe.“

“Great stuff! Chinese Vietnamese style pho served with a ginger scallion sauce which really makes the dish. You can pick from 4 different kinds of noodles.

Boneless Chicken Noodle ($15.99) - Shredded chicken for the lazy customers! Broth tasted pretty good.“

“This is my go to pho place with really good food and very reasonable prices. Thepho quality isn’t the most consistent, and i would say their regular pho on the weekends often taste better than during the week. That’s why I always go with bun bo hue cuz the quality of that is very consistent and you can’t go wrong with it. Other items ate also really good but i usually just get pho.“

Most recently, I ordered the pho ga (chicken pho) just as it is and it was flavorful, full of good size chicken pieces, ample noodles, and the broth was perfect. Toppings on the side were plentiful (basil, lemon, sprouts, etc.). I also ordered a soda chanh (lemon soda) and some spring rolls. Again, never an issue with the freshness or quantity provided. Just loved it and highly recommended you pay this restaurant a visit if you're in Union City and are seeking a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. While I haven't tried the other meat/rice dishes they offer (since I typically only ordered pho), my other family members have and will attest that they are made well and are of sizeable portion. Also, the family that runs this place is always kind and efficient. Thank you so much!“
