“Haven't eaten at this venue for about 3 and a half years. I was happy to see it was still open. I came here for the PHO. As 3 and a half years ago it had the same great taste. Price increased but that was expected. I will continue to come here to this small venue everytime I come visit.“

“Their Shrimps were delicious, the head-on was surprising, the crab was steamed at the right temp to crack and enjoy the meat. the corn and bread were disappointing, Seasoning was good but for the price, the food was not as fresh as I was expecting. But so far it is the only bag o seafood I've seen in Alameda and I'm enjoying it.“

“This place is such a sweet little cozy place. Basic interior but really comfortable. We found the food to be very good and very fresh tasting. A sweet little spot on the main strip. Worth checking out truly enjoyed.

“They have delicious food and drinks. I got the house special vermicelli bowl and it was so delicious and it even came with fish sauce. I also had the french fries and a can of coconut juice which were really good.
At the table they have a bottle of sriracha sauce, a bottle of hoisin suace, and a clear container of what I assume is chili oil with a little spoon to serve it.
The server is nice. There are lots of tvs for watching sports and some cool lights on the wall. There are plenty of tables with a booth on one side and chairs on the other. There is also a bar that faces 3 tvs.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian entrees and appetizers.
Parking: It is in the downtown area, so you can park in front of if or across the street or nearby.
Kid-friendliness: It is not kid-friendly, it is a bar.“

“came right at opening hours and the bread was so fresh! crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. i especially liked the pate here - just a pretty solid banh mi all around. the bad reviews are from 5 years ago (different owner?). great prices with the most expensive banh mi being at $8“

“We initially tried to come here on a Friday at 7 PM but there seemed to be a long wait so we decided to check it out on a Wednesday and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. This location was originally a Taco Bell, but I love the atmosphere there, friendly, good service and comforting food! It's a cozy place perfect for a cold wintry day to have your own little boiling hot pot of tasty broth and hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Hubby ordered the Lau Pork Bone Marrow and I had the Lau Oxtail. I ordered the Oxtail without the tripe, just more oxtail! The hot pot came out boiling with oxtail and beef balls. All I had to do was cook the egg noodles, taro, tofu, cabbage, veggies into the soup as there was plenty of delicious oxtail and meat balls in the delicious broth! Great for a bone chilling night! Next time I'd love to try the shaken beef!“

“Super friendly staff and generous portions! I got the spring rolls with tofu and avocado added and my parter got the tofu and mushroom banh mi (with avocado instead of mayo, since we're both vegan.) Both very delicious. Also wanted to try the spicy seitan sandwich but didn't see it as an option until later – next time!
Dietary restrictions: For vegan options they have tofu offerings, and can sub in avocado instead of mayo. Also a spicy seitan sandwich but not sure if that's going to be a permanent menu item.“
