“Kevin's Noodle House is a mid-tier Vietnamese restaurant that is very popular and an anchor store for this plaza. They have a very good variety of dishes from soup noodles (pho, fat rice noodles and egg noodles) to rice plates and vermicelli bowls. Nothing stands out as unique though. They were really busy on a Friday for lunch with a small line outside. We had the #1, pho dac biet $13, #2 pho dac biet with beef balls $14.25 (L) and a wings $13. Everything tasted fine and the food came out fast. The staff here are hard working and I appreciate their service.“

“Well, it’s been years since I’ve eaten here last and it does have some mixed reviews. But we were seated quickly and menus came immediately as did water as requested. The waiter took our order very soon after our menu and the food came in fast in less than five minutes!! I had #31 beef stew with wide noodles and my partner ordered #55 b which was bbq pork with vermicelli and an imperial roll. They were both delicious and flavorful. My small bowl still had a lot of ingredients and the broth was excellent!! Can’t ask for much more than what!! We’ll be back for sure to try other dishes!“

“Everything we ordered was good. In fact we couldn’t eat it all. Your pizza was so delish! Never had chow fun wrapped up in little rolls but it was pretty good. Your shaking beef salad was good too. Definitely a dining experience in Asian fusion!“

“The sandwiches are so good and so reasonably priced but I came at 11:50 on a Friday and waited 35 min for 2 sandwiches.
People call ahead and order like 10 things and there seems to only be one or two people in the kitchen so it can get extremely backed up. The really nice gentleman taking orders is very detailed and checks each order which also super slows things down.
Call ahead for your order or come before 11:30, or after 1pm. Otherwise it’s a complete disaster.“

“With its friendly atmosphere, great food, and its gracious portions Yummy Yummy is a hidden gem of SF's Sunset district. Despite not having the fame of its neighbors this family owned phó spot will always be my go to for a nice warm meal, and great company. My wife and I have been coming here for years and not once have we ever had a bad meal. Upon entering you're greeted with a smile and the lovely aroma of home-cooked Vietnamese comfort food. Monday and Tuesday they are closed but please stop by for the best Pho in the city. I always recommend the #1 ( a beef broth Pho) and the #8 ( a beef and peanut broth Pho) and if you need a pick-me-up the Vietnamese iced coffee will keep you going for hours.
If you have a peanut allergy this place is not for you.
Dietary restrictions: Not peanut allergy friendly“

“We had an amazing dining experience at Saigon BBQ Noodle House! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially to our 4-year-old and 7-month-old. It’s not every day you meet such genuinely great people who go out of their way to make your meal enjoyable. The spring rolls were absolutely to die for, and the pho was so flavorful—every bite was perfect. Such a fantastic place with both delicious food and warm, friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!
Kid-friendliness: Saigon BBQ Noodle House is incredibly kid-friendly, and we had such a delightful experience there! The staff was wonderful, interacting with our 7-month-old baby and being so kind to our 4-year-old. One of the employees even mentioned having a nephew the same age, which made for a sweet and heartwarming conversation. It’s rare to find a place where the staff genuinely engages with your kids, making them feel just as welcome as the adults. We left with full hearts and full stomachs—such a great spot for families“

“"Well, hot diggity dog, if Banh Mi Viet ain’t the tastiest thing since a Texas barbecue, I don’t know what is! This here banh mi’s got bread that’s crispier than a tumbleweed in the desert and soft as a summer breeze on the inside. And the fillings? Shoot, they’re fresher than a daisy in spring and pack more flavor than a cowboy cookout! The mix of savory meats, pickled veggies, and that zesty sauce’ll have your taste buds doing the Texas two-step! The folks workin’ here are friendlier than a critter at a country fair, and they whip up your order faster than a jackrabbit on a hot skillet. If y’all want a sandwich that’ll knock your boots off, Banh Mi Viet’s the spot, y’all! Yeehaw!"“

“The best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area! Prices are excellent. Get the Number 5 to sample everything. I would come here at least one a week if I lived nearby! Order to go if you don’t want to sit in the tiny 10-person space. The food is worth it!“

“The #1 egg rolls were perfectly cooked. The crunch was excellent! They're very nice also. Extremely accommodating and wheelchair accessible (double entrance doors).
Parking: Street parking where you pay the machine and put the ticket on your dash.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. They probably have high chairs, I don't see any though.
Wheelchair accessibility: From the sidewalk, double-door entrance.“

“Absolutely incredible crabs. I'm not very experienced with crab restaurants, but everything here was delicious. I wish I lived in the bay area to go again some time! Only issue was a mostly vegetarian friend got the mango salad and didn't expect it to be 90% mango and 10% greens. Everything else was pure perfection.“

“I stopped here for lunch while the neighborhood and I’m so glad I did! The broth with my vegetarian spicy pho was flat out delicious. Lots of restaurants skimp on veggie broth but this one is deeply flavored - I finished the whole bowl. Add to that the vegan shrimp, ‘fish’ cake and ‘meat’ and you can tell someone put a lot of thought into all the details. I will definitely be back!
Vegetarian options: Flavorful, complex and delicious vegetarian options.“

“Food was incredible, very fresh and authentic. Just be wary of the local streets, we made the mistake of walking through O'Farrell to get to this restaurant. On a positive the food was worth the risk of getting mugged and watching people use needles.“

“This place is the truth. I keep ordering the same thing - pork vermicelli with the extra side of rolls - and it is so, so good every time. I'll have to try some other items! Plenty of food (I'm a big eater), good price and friendly service. Enthusiastic 5 stars.“

“Typical Mom and Pop breakfast place. I only gave it 3 stars for atmosphere because it's an older restaurant in a wild location in San Francisco's Tenderloin district. The prices are really good and the food is as good as you'll get at any diner. If you're hungry and in the area it's a great place.“

“My Favorite quick lunch spot in this area.Generous portion(Banh Mi only), quick service(when you order online), inexpensive($10 in SF Downtown?! Only this place) tangy and tasty Banh Mi & Bowl.Among their various product, 5 spices Banh Mi / Shrimp Bowl(with Extra Noodle and Extra Fish Sauce) are my best.Vietnamese coffee is also good, I barely order it as my company has a coffee machine though...“

“Revisited this spot & still so good. Tried the vegan iced Thai tea for the first time and it was delicious!! The alternative is coconut milk fyi. My go to is the pork ban mi but most items I’ve had are good. A perf little spot after spending the day in Pacifica surf or hiking. Ps. Love that they are always blasting the jams in there!

“Best Bahn mi I’ve ever had in my life. Everything about this sandwich hit the spot, fresh bread, fresh veggies, and the chicken was 1 of 1.
I love the quaint atmosphere and friendly people that work here. I’m about to order another one soon as they open“

“I've been here several times and the food is INCREDIBLE! I usually get the BBQ Chicken Sandwich and the Tofu Rolls which the person at the register recommended my first time. The Thai Tea is also great, and has a very rich flavor, though they don't offer the coffee jelly anymore. My husband usually gets the Tofu Over Vermicelli, which isn't on the menu but if you request they will likely make it. Love coming here!“

“The Bun Cha Ha Noi is better than the Bun Cha I had in Hanoi. Legitimately the best Vietnamese food I've had since Vietnam. They're friendly, quick, and authentic. I struggle to find Bun Cha in the US since it's a northern dish, and I shouldn't have to explain why Northern Vietnamese cuisine is so rare here. Second time I've found it in the United States and it did not disappoint. I'll be stopping by every time I come to San Francisco.
Dietary restrictions: They asked me multiple times if I had allergies. First when we sat down, then again anytime they brought us anything with any sort of allergen. If you have an allergic reaction here, it's on you. They won't let you order anything that could cause a reaction without asking if you're allergic.“

“Solid place for banh mi - this is the best spot I’ve tried in the Bay so far. The banh mi is extra thick and stuffed full, so a half sandwich would be sufficient for lunch. I like that there’s a decent amount of seating inside, so it doesn’t feel too crowded despite it being a small space. Service is pretty fast at this place too, so even if there’s a line, it’s not a long wait time to get your food.“

“There was a small wait during a weekend lunch, like 5-10min. The host/owner was very friendly! The food didn't take too long but wasn't super fast (not like a pho restaurant where it's just cooked ahead of time) so it felt more freshly made.
I ordered the dry noodles with braised duck leg. It came with a side of broth. The portions are large and the food was delicious! I would come back here again. I also got the fresh soy milk, which was in a smaller cup than I expected. Still good though.
They were very attentive. Our table was missing the jalapeno jar. which my friend likes. They must have seen us looking for it because they brought it over right away without us asking.
Small restaurant but doesn't feel claustrophobic or loud“

“Came by on a Friday for lunch since I heard this is when they have their Hainan chicken available on the menu. The restaurant was thankfully not too crowded when we went so it was quick to get a table and service was great! The Hainan chicken was plenty flavorful and the sauce that they provide gives it an additional layer of flavor that pairs nicely with the rice and pickled vegetables. By far my favorite Hainan chicken spot as of yet! Definitely want to come back and try more items next time.
Parking: Limited spots on the street depending on time of day“

“Super delicious Vietnamese restaurant and I would highly recommend anything and everything on the menu. Ordered the Bun Thit Bo Xao (lemongrass beef noodles without broth) and mango salad (which includes pork belly and shrimp). The lemongrass beef was plentiful and super tender, a great fish sauce based dressing on the side and plenty of veggies and noodles to pair with the beef. The mango salad is a must get, tender and plump pork belly, snappy fresh shrimp, sweet succulent mangoes. I would come back anytime.“

“Wow! Real great find! Has a wide variety Vietnamese menu at reasonable prices with very good and quick service!
No frills but looked busy with many locals enjoying their lunch! We both liked our food and would happily return!
There were signs indicating they only take MasterCard & Visa, so probably no AMEX here. Also, looked like they had a $10 minimum to use a credit card, but that's not really hard to meet.“

“Best phở I had outside of Vietnam. Fresh noodle, generous amount of meat, rich broth with all the essential condiments including prickled garlic, fish sauce, chilli sauce and fresh chilli to customize your own bowl. I craved the phở here even when I just arrived from Hanoi lol.
It is pricey tho. Payment is accepted both by cash and card.“

“Best banh mi I’ve ever had! Must stop, will be returning immediately. The meat was excellently marinated and grilled. The bread was fresh and soft yet still maintained a little crisp on top. Filled with the perfect ratio and combo of cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon radish. This banh mi created a symphony in my mouth. Was beyond thrilled with every bit and moment of eating, enjoying, and loving this banh mi!“
