“It’s a busy place with lots of seating. They seat you quickly, they bring the food out almost immediately after ordering. The pho broth is delicious and flavorful with generous amounts of all the standard sides and sauce options. They have large servings with a side of lettuce, cucumber, and pickled carrot and radish. The drinks are quite good as well. I’d definitely recommend this place for a quick and delicious meal!“

“I went here for the first time and it was an amazing experience. The food was incredible , especially the pho. The broth was so rich and flavorful, it really stood out.

What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. Our server carried the hot bowl of pho like it was nothing , I touched it for a second and it was really hot, so I was honestly amazed!

The staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Our server was very attentive, and even the manager came by to check on us, helped fix our plates, and made sure everything was perfect. That level of care made us feel really special.“

It's a rather small restaurant, so you may have to wait a bit, but food is prepared quickly and is full of flavor!“

“This is hands down the best bánh mì I’ve had in San Francisco.

The meat-to-bread ratio is incredible — the sandwich is generously packed with beef and super satisfying. The flavors are beautifully balanced: a little sweet, a little spicy, with a bright tangy kick. As you keep eating, you can even notice the fresh aroma of lemongrass. Absolutely delicious.

I’m very particular about bánh mì baguettes — they shouldn’t be too thick. I like them light, airy, and shatteringly crisp on the outside. The bread here is exactly how it should be, and it even looks beautiful. Everything just works. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the woman at the front desk of the hotel Zetta. I started with the turmeric dill catfish sandwich and fresh salad.

I made the mistake of not reading the menu carefully and ate half a jalapeño before I realized the temperature wasn’t the only heat.

The waitress gave me a Thai iced tea on the house to help me with the spice. I also had a banana pudding with peanut topping pie for the sweetness.

Once I learned that the green pepper was a jalapeño, I took it out of the second half and finished the sandwich fine.

I sat by the window and watched over a dozen scooter drivers in helmets pick up delivery orders while I was there. That reminded me of Spider-Man delivering pizzas on the back of his bike in the city.

Considering the prime location, the prices are very reasonable.“

“The best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area! Prices are excellent. Get the Number 5 to sample everything. I would come here at least one a week if I lived nearby! Order to go if you don’t want to sit in the tiny 10-person space. The food is worth it!“

“Very good pho. The pho broth was very flavorful even before I added the herbs. The noodles were all broken apart, but not too bad. We also tried the fried wings with fish sauce. It's sweet, crunchy, and tasty, but the wings were kinda small.“

“While visiting San Francisco during the windy day I was craving warm pho soup. We selected a Pho restaurant near our hotel, and we chose the right place. It was one of the best pho dishes we’ve had! I eat pho at least twice a week in Southern California, where there are plenty of choices. However, this was one of the most delicious Pho dishes I’ve had.“

“I really liked the Thai Ice tea. Some places fill your whole cup with too much ice. This place had just the right amount of ice not overly icy just enough and enough condensed milk in there and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed it and I would definitely buy another tie ice tea every time I walk by that place. I ordered the chicken fresh bowl and it was fantastic. Very light. It had noodles, fresh veggies, and chicken, cilantro and you could top it off with fish sauce. It was filling, but not too heavy and very flavorful. “Very possibly the best banh mi and hue rolls I've ever had. And I've been an avid Vietnamese food eater for 15 years in NYC and have been all over Vietnam.

5 spice chicken banh mi was insanely good, but also anything with the pork shoulder is gonna be great. Could have passed on the shrimp & pork spring rolls.“

“Just tried for the 1st time today and ordered takeout bbq pork banh mi sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Seems like a family owned mom&pop shop, super sweet friendly service. BBQ pork banh mi sandwich was excellent, perfectly toasted bread on the outside, soft on the inside (not hard and rough like other banh mi sandwiches that hurt the roof of your mouth), delicious BBQ pork flavor, stuffed with fresh yummy pickled veggies, flavors were spot on. Vietnamese iced coffee was good, could be a bit stronger and creamier for my tastes. Overall would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back. =)“

“I was so glad I decided to order the Duck Bahn Mi because this sandwich did not disappoint. I was worried it would be too fatty or too dry which can happen with Duck. This sandwich was excellent. Moist Duck and great flavor, without the sandwich being too wet. I HATE mushy bread and that was my second fear with having this delivered to my office. The sandwich arrived perfect. No mushy bread no problems. It was excellent, I wish I had another right now while I type this. Please everyone try the duck!“

“Thai Nghiep Ky Mi Gia is a fantastic spot for authentic and flavorful food. The dishes are always fresh, rich in taste, and consistently satisfying.

Ordered food to go through Uber Eats. First time trying this place. Was very pleased with my lunch.

Had the chicken pho and the soup was very tasty 😋. Good combo of noodles and chicken.

Also had the chicken cabbage salad and thought it was delicious. Would order that again.

Also tasted the papaya shrimp salad and the tofu banh mi. Both were good. Will definitely come back again. Will try dining in next time.“

“We tried the Hu Tieu and Cha Gio, and both were delicious. The Cha Gio was perfectly crispy, and I especially loved it with their flavorful fish sauce. The Hu Tieu portion was huge, with a clear, transparent broth that was surprisingly rich and full of flavor.

I also really enjoyed the fresh orange juice, it wasn’t overly sweet and tasted very refreshing. The Thai tea was decent, though nothing particularly special. The service was okay, and the restaurant had a nice, quiet atmosphere when we visited around 3–4 PM, making it a relaxing and chill place to enjoy a meal.

“Love the food here. Can’t go wrong with any of their banh mi sandwiches! They’re all good!!! Got the bbq pork today and shrimp and chicken spring rolls. The bread is soft with a perfect crunch on the outside. Spring rolls was a perfect size and you get 3 with your choice of sauce. It’s located in a shopping center so lots of parking. Got our food at a reasonable amount of time… about 10 mins. Store is clean and staff is super friendly. There is outdoor seating in case you want to bring your pup:).“

I had the shrimp Mayo toasted Bread. I thought it was great. Also had the egg roll plate. They were pretty good. Both items were served popping hot. I had to wait and let them cool. This is always a must for me... hot food needs to be hot.

I had the BBQ pork sandwich. It was a little salty for me but im also getting over a cold and my tastey buds are probably a little wacky.

The bread was fresh and perfect crunchy.

“Fire! So good we got the shrimp papaya salad, rice rolls, calamari, and pho combo with tofu. We also got Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee as well. The food was great and came out quickly. The drinks were great and the staff was super nice and efficient. Def recommend. Don’t have pictures because we cleared everything.“

“The bbq lemongrass beef pho is a superstar. Get it. Eat it. You won’t regret it. (Also, the beef portion was generous, I just ate a lot of it before remembering to take the photo lol)

The space and atmosphere is super cozy and aesthetic. Loved all the minimalist art on the wall and the warm lighting with the antique chandeliers.

Service was great. The older woman running the show was as sweet as apple pie.

So happy they also have a location in the city, so I can get my fix! Highly recommend coming early since line can be long during lunch and dinner hours. However, if you come during those busy hours, don't worry, the line moves fast here!“
