It's the sauce! Everyone else is skimping on the sauce. The combination is one of the best I've had. The bread is a little different, more of a squared off roll with a fluffy inside, didn't hate it though ?.
It's a small place so the seatings were just by the window. There's only one person there when we went and he doesn't accept card as he prefers to stay traditional. As for the sandwich it was fine, quite big but a bit foo much carrot. I ordered the bbq pork one.

Pretty solid banh mi. Like the other reviews said, there's a bit too much carrot for my taste. The bread is unique - it's crunchy and buttery, definitely not the traditional french baguette. However, I did enjoy the change of pace. The man making the sandwich was very kind and the service was fast. It satisfies my banh mi craving when I'm in the area!
