“This is a highly recommended local restaurant we should support and treasure! I went there this afternoon for a quick lunch and ordered a small Combo Pho and a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake. For the Combo Pho, the meat quality is great and sufficient and the pho amount is just right! Most importantly is that the soup is hot and you won’t get thirsty after having their soup. At $12.50 price, that’s a great price in Tri-Valley since pandemic. Also, I’d ordered a piece of Fried Shrimp Cake as the side of my pho. The shrimp cake is crispy and full of shrimp flavor and I can cut it into 9 bite size and it only cost me $7.00 only!“

“First impression means a lot when you are trying out a new place. The greetings from the staff was so cheerful and pleasant. Don't know her name but she wears her hair in two ponytails. Even though we are supposed to order online they still come by to take our orders and clarify questions we may have. A lot of restaurants don't bother. We had the pickled cabbage fish and the pork cartilage noodles. They are good! Though they can time down the salt a bit more but that's a personal preference. The pickled potatoes is a good appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place.“

“We had an assortment of dishes and shared all as one would family style. The sauces and ingredients were quality almost as good as we had overseas. What highlighted the key ingredient was the noodles. Better than most casual locales we’ve experienced. I couldn’t recollect the Korean dish names, but check the pics. After lunch, we came to the consensus that the dishes we had were better than expected. Our foodie has been to Santa Clara location as well and precedes that this location has better quality pork dishes. Hope someone will agree or have similar experiences. As always, post wherever you end up.“

I usually add powder for him to eat, and he is very special. I like sausages and beef. I also like beef. My husband likes their radishes. All in all they are delicious. “Do you like chicken? How about pho? If so, this place is right up your alley! This seems like a newer location of a branch originally based in San Leandro (which I've never been to). It's in the same strip mall as a bunch of Asian restaurants and Marina Foods, so you have no shortage of options. However, I recommend coming here for these reasons: 1. Everything looks super new and clean! The decor, bathroom, and tables were all sparkling. I normally don't mind more cluttered hole in the wall type places but the clean interiors made me feel calm as soon as I walked in. 2. Note that they only serve chicken dishes. Which is fine, because I love chicken. I got the #1 dish which consists of steamed chicken in a big bowl of pho with all the usual toppings. It also came with a delicious ginger scallion concoction which was flavorful and generous. The chicken was piping hot and fresh, and the noodles and soup were nice complements to it. 3. Service was great! They speak both Mandarin and Cantonese so if you want to order in one of those languages, you can (of course English works too). No wait, and while the restaurant is small, like I mentioned above everything is nice and orderly so there's no chaos. Very nice environment to enjoy a warm meal in, especially on a cold day. I'm coming back to try their plethora of drinks! (What's available: Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, soy milk, various unique sodas)“

“It’s a nice clean place, with great Pho. The quality of Pho soup was great as well as the quality. We ordered Pho with Pork wonton, chicken and shrimp. Although I liked the soup, what disappointed me was the broken wantons, all of them had the meat out of the wonton. We also ordered a side of grilled pork, which was also a disappointment. My suggestion if you are visiting here is to stick to Pho and order their typical dishes. The soup quantity and quality along with the noddle and meat would not disappoint you.I would rather not experiment here. But overall a good experience.I would want to go here again“

“Bing's Dumplings has very authentic pork soup dumplings and "spicy and sour noodle soup with minced pork and potatoes". Bing's pork soup dumpling is at lease same or even better than Shanghai's famous "NanXiang" pork soup dumpling. The spicy and sour noodle soup is originated from China's ShanXi province, I had lived in it's capital Xi'an for a few years and had my first "spicy and sour noodle soup with minced pork and potatoes" there. The potsticker is also yammy. We always comes back to Bing's for the nostalgic food:-)“

“I've been wanting to try this new place because it kept popping up on yelp. We went for lunch over the weekend, so there was no wait. The inside is brightly lit and clean, but there weren't too many tables. We ordered through our phones and received our food quickly. We got the original beef pork bone soup and the tomato beef brisket soup. It was a fun experience putting everything into the soup and cooking it, it was like a personal hotpot. The meat was very good and the soup came with tons of noodles. The other toppings were good, but I wasn't a fan of the romain lettuce that it came with. I thought it was going to come with cabbage, but it was lettuce. I personally don't like hot and soggy romaine lettuce, so I was disappointed when that was the main vegetable. On the bright side, both soups were tasty! I enjoyed trying this place, but I don't think I would come back.“

“This is a tricky one. Getting Jajangmyeon right is so tough to pull off impressing Koreans. This is like trying to get a baguette right in France. Myeongdong is situated in the Pacific Pearl plaza where almost out of no where you have this massive Asian cuisine bonanza going on in Livermore - traditionally considered Asian dessert. It was really weird to see that many legit Korean / Chinee / Taiwanese / and other food and chains all the way out there. I guess they're for outlet shoppers?Either way, Myeongdong's Jajangmyeon was definitely on the legit side. The noodle texture was relatively good and unique. The slight fail is definitely with the sauce. Plenty of veggies and meat but no gravy. This means the Jajangmyeon turns out dry and leaves a lot of noodle without any flavor coverage. I hope the chef puts a bit more effort into the gravy and au jour, especially cause that is the cheaper part of the sauce.Their Tangsooyook - deep fried pork - that always accompanies the Jajangmyeon was also quite good. Decent portions, decently sweet sauce. Nothing mind blowing but also not to be shy of.Jjampong - spicy seafood noodles - the soup didn't have much soul in it. Barely passing the acceptable mark but again, not too shabby considering how far out this joint is compared to the rest of the Korean population.Prices were appropriate. And considering how new the place is, the atmosphere was clean and bright. These types of Korean comfort food places is all about "aging" and maturing. There's a bit of breaking in that must be done and I think as the years fold under, let's see how they either establish themselves into a destination for pilgrimage or simply wither away. As of now, I'm more on the hopeful side.Parking: The plaza parking lot - despite being quite spacious - literally fills up. And 1/3rd of the stores weren't even open. Good luck finding parking.“
