“Finally got to try this place for the first time, definitely lived up to all the great reviews and recommendations. It's been hard to get a reservation, but definitely worth the trip.”

“Wow!! What an amazing local bakery. We found this place after a race at Del Valle Park. After hitting the trails we went hard on the pastries and baked goods. Everything is so fresh and beautifully created. Highlights would be the Rhubarb Pop Tart, perfect crust with little zing of rhubarb offset by the beautiful frosting. The croissants are to die for and remind me of Paris with their flaky crusts. We tried several sandwiches and the standout was the Turkey Avocado. The bakery is as beautiful as the food with a working kitchen just off the main dining area. Excellent food, service and a very chill vibe that makes you want to hang out with the staff and shoot the breeze. A special shoutout to Ewan for checking on our table often and making sure we were well taken care. I don't get this kind of service at a fine dining restaurant, let alone a local bakery! Hire more Ewans and make me about a dozen more of those chocolate Kouign-amans. So damn good.”

“Petra's catered my Birthday party! Petra Salad Tray was colorful, flavorful, presentable, and delicious. Chicken, steak, rice, and sauces/dips always abundant in flavor.. Something for everyone from vegetarian to meat lovers, guests loved it. I will definitely use Petra's again for my next event. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating.”

“The food, service and ambience - all were great! We had paneer tikka, dal makni, and malai kofta along with the kadai paneer. The quantities were decent and taste was delicious. We ended the meal with kulfi Falooda which was one of the best I have had in Bay Area. Two things that need to be improved: Aam Panna drink had too much sugar and felt artificial. And then Masala tea was lukewarm and taste was not good either.”

“This past year I've been exploring the Livermore Wineries, and one of my friends introduced me to Wood Family Vineyards. I've mainly been to outdoor wineries which can get chilly during the winter months, so the indoor tasting room was perfect for me. Right away, I felt a more home-y, intimate vibe from the staff at Wood Family Vineyards unlike the other wineries I had been to. The staff was incredible and even the owner was there, talking about his favorite wines and starting a conversation with us. You could feel the love and care they put into their craft, and I appreciated that. Every time I come back, I try a new wine that I love! Recently, I tried a rosé during a tasting and loved the tart flavor it had. I have yet to come when they are having live music, but can't wait to experience that too!”

“We love cheese fondue in general. We dropped in after several years actually and were pleasantly surprised that it’s still a great fondue place. I’m talking maybe after 10-12 years the last time we came. Great server who provided excellent service. Fondue top notch and so was chocolate fondue. I wish we had the appetite for the feast. All in all a wonderful outing. Docked one star only for the okay martini flight. Super sweet mostly. Couple of them were still nice though.Vegetarian options: Well it’s cheese and veggies/ fruits/ bread to dip with to your hearts content.”

“We took a risk on this small, primarily carryout place when we found ourselves in Livermore. It's not glamorous, sitting in a small, fairly deserted mall next to a Taco Bell, but our combo chicken/tekah kabob plates were delicious, and the service was excellent. To our surprise, Sam, the gracious man behind the counter, brought us our salads first, then our orders that included marinated, aromatic chicken and tri-tip, rice in a savory brown sauce, and Chani, a spicy green sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the hot, fresh Afghan bread that came with the meal was exceptional. Despite generally avoiding spicy food, I thoroughly enjoyed the kabob but avoided the sauce. My husband did not find the kabob spicy. Price was reasonable - around $50 for two, including a drink. The service was warm and welcoming. I'm not an expert in Afghani food, but I would definitely come back here, despite the TVs and lack of decor. We had to do an errand, but wanted more bread. We arranged to come back in 10 minutes and, to our great surprise, were given a more than 24-inch loaf in a bag for $6. Wow!”

“One of my favorite places in Livermore to eat at. We started with the calamari and pretzel bites. She had the fish and chips while I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. No complaints at all ok the food. I just wish they had full bar service the whole time. I was told they couldn’t make me a Bloody Mary on a Saturday evening. Other than that, it was an awesome dinner.”

“I have been here a couple of times and the BBQ does not disappoint. The only thing that was disappointing was they ran out of Beef Burnt Ends at 630ish on a Saturday. So if you want burnt ends, you should get there earlier. They also have a great drink special on Saturday, $11 for a beer and a shot. A shot is normally $9.50 so this is a great deal. They get to choose the shot and beer but these seemed to be good spirits so I can't really complain about not picking the shot or beer. I got the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Beef Brisket with a Chili Mac and Corn Bread. All of it was really good. They have a few choices of BBQ sauce and I decided on the Tangy for the Pork Belly and Spicy for the Beef Brisket. They also have a bunch of TVs everywhere, in case you are trying to watch a game. If you are in Livermore and in the mood for BBQ, you can't go wrong with this place.”

“This is one of the top Chinese restaurants that I have eaten at. This restaurant has been at this location for at least 20 years that I recall their Peking duck which is tea smoked, never disappoint. They have one of the best walnut prawns in the Bay area. the service is excellent and their wine in liquor bar is exceptional.”

“Solid! Absolutely solid wine. The type where there wasn't really anything wrong with any of the wines. The type where you are pretty tempted to join because you just agree with how the winemaker is making wine. Going to have to come back again here to try the flight again after their next release to see if lightning strikes twice, in which case we'll have to join. Highly recommend if you're at the complex and trying to decide which of the little tasting rooms to check out. Also, if you do decide to join, they dedicate a lot of their space to a members only lounge in the bac, which is pretty fun.Loved the barbera wines the most - both the sparkling and the rose. Bought a few bottles of rose, which is rare because I find rose wine the most boring and one dimensional. But this rose of barbera was fun and interesting.”

“Hey guys just saying this place has really good seafood, I had the ceviche quesadillas and a super sangria that came with shrimp and it was so good. My wife had some tacos and she agreed this is her #1 spot. The service from these ladies is amazing, respectful, nice, and just gorgeous people. They always got good music playing and at times karaoke. Show up yourself and you'll see I ain't lying.”

“Did not expect food from here to be so good and authentic! I have tried a lot of dishes here and one of my favorites is definitely the larb. The dish is tangy, bright and refreshing, yet spicy and full-flavored. Their pad makuer is also great with deep, rich, smokey, and spicy flavors. We walked in on a Friday night and it was full with a wait list (they use the Yelp wait list feature, you log yourself in), but there were only two parties in front of us and the wait was less then 20 minutes.Once we were seated we shared an order of garlic edemame and gyōzas. The edemame was full of flavor with lots of fresh sautéed garlic, the gyōzas were crispy and the filling moist and yummy.We ordered a number of rolls, two traditional, two cucumber wrapped - Rainbow, Dragon Crunch, SP Crab and Sakura and one Chicken Teriyaki Plate.The fish was so fresh, prepared beautifully and presented elegantly.Service was quick and everyone was so welcoming. I came in earlier today around 3pm, and I got a couple of smoothies and a tea with my granddaughter. My granddaughter loves the smoothies, and the tea is tasty. What really sets this place apart is the great customer service, which is rare these days. I am talked to like we have known each other for years. That worker always makes sure I am taken care of. “It seems like this is one of the few McDonald's locations in the area that doesn't have a bathroom that requires a code. Which is very helpful, because sometimes I just don't want to get up and ask the employee before taking a trip to the loo. Or, if I'm in a rush, I would rather not inconvenience anyone other than myself when trying to get a bathroom break.As for the food, I think it's pretty standard for McDonald's. Finally had a chance to go last night to what I thought was just watching people playing cornhole and having fun. Ended up subbing for my buddy last night. I had a blast and the vibes at this place is perfect. First looking at their website for beer it seemed small but once you get there you will see a lot more beer options. I only had the hazy which was very good. But I was eye balling their tripple which people rave about. So the beer here is very good. What was a nice surprise was their food. I felt like I was eating from a really good food truck. Made to order which is nice and you get a buzzer when the food is ready. For how many people were there last nigth bathroom was pretty clean. If you like beer and great food with with a chill environment you need to go here!”

“So happy to have a little bit of Hawaii in Bay Area! Probably my favorite acai bowl place - I go all the time for their blue Hawaii bowl and fruit flavored lemonades. So delicious and the portions are generous - you can also make modifications to the bowl for your liking. The inside of the store feels very "Hawaii", I usually mobile order online and pick up. One star off because there were a few times where I felt the workers weren't very friendly so maybe there's off days? Overall though I'll keep coming back to try more of their menu!”

“I have been here a couple of times and the BBQ does not disappoint. The only thing that was disappointing was they ran out of Beef Burnt Ends at 630ish on a Saturday. So if you want burnt ends, you should get there earlier. They also have a great drink special on Saturday, $11 for a beer and a shot. A shot is normally $9.50 so this is a great deal. They get to choose the shot and beer but these seemed to be good spirits so I can't really complain about not picking the shot or beer. I got the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Beef Brisket with a Chili Mac and Corn Bread. All of it was really good. They have a few choices of BBQ sauce and I decided on the Tangy for the Pork Belly and Spicy for the Beef Brisket. They also have a bunch of TVs everywhere, in case you are trying to watch a game. If you are in Livermore and in the mood for BBQ, you can't go wrong with this place.”

This restaurant has been at this location for at least 20 years that I recall their Peking duck which is tea smoked, never disappoint. “Wow!! What an amazing local bakery. We found this place after a race at Del Valle Park. After hitting the trails we went hard on the pastries and baked goods. Everything is so fresh and beautifully created. Highlights would be the Rhubarb Pop Tart, perfect crust with little zing of rhubarb offset by the beautiful frosting. The croissants are to die for and remind me of Paris with their flaky crusts. We tried several sandwiches and the standout was the Turkey Avocado. The bakery is as beautiful as the food with a working kitchen just off the main dining area. Excellent food, service and a very chill vibe that makes you want to hang out with the staff and shoot the breeze. A special shoutout to Ewan for checking on our table often and making sure we were well taken care. I don't get this kind of service at a fine dining restaurant, let alone a local bakery!
