“Nice small place. Non pretentious and pretty chill. Not the most hip place but the wine is very solid. The pricetag is also well below what this quality would normally go for. I've been to at least 20 different tastings in Livermore and I think this place is the best quality-price ratio in Livermore. I have been twice but not for many months but was prompted to suddenly leave a review because I'm drinking a bottle of their 2019 pinot and I'm shocked at how decent it is. 30 minutes to decant and it's very similar to Willamette pinot at what would be double the price. What a nice bottle. I almost feel lucky to have it.“

“Been here 3 times now since a family member is a wine club member. This is just a small tasting room, but their usually not packed and have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a section in the back that is for members only. There is only 1 bathroom though so plan accordingly.
They always start you off with a welcome glass of sparkling wine then you choose your tasting. There's 2 teasing options, a normal $20 or a higher end $60 one. Each with 4 normal sized pours, which are all given at once in little caraffes so you can taste at your own pace. Their wines are high quality, more red heavy, but they have a variety. Their style is more earthy, bold, barrel aged reds.
Service is always good. They allow outside food. Street parking is not too difficult. Check them out“
“We stopped off here on our last leg of an RV road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco and it was the perfect afternoon! The back garden and patio is beautiful, peaceful tranquility. The wine is absolutely knock out. But more than anything, it was the family feel of the place. Ann was amazing, a highlight of our trip was chatting with her and there were lovely details like the owner doing the art work for the bottles. 5 star recommend!“

“Great location for our family event. The staff are excellent and the wines are exceptional. Our family was very pleased that we could walk across the parking lot to a dispensary staffed with even more good folks. The scenery is scenic. It was convenient for us to be able to get setup and clean up with parking close by.“

“I love Visiting Wente with my son who is a wine member. We live in Bermuda and drink Wente here as our go to wine. However very disappointed that they have stopped serving the charcuterie boards. Now you get a complimentary plate with cheese and crackers. Very tacky! This is an upscale place to visit but needs to maintain its class! Come on not very difficult to prepare these plates. It’s not as if they are free.“

“You have restored my faith in Livermore wineries tasting experiences. So many of them have gone the way of Napa and Sonoma (ridiculous prices, stingy pours, crowded, impersonal). We went to Fenestra to pick up our wine pickups on Dec 14th.
The staff there are always so nice and welcoming!
We were fortunate to get Valerie again as our pourer
Fenestra has always been so generous with their pours and the amount of wine you get to taste
We are also so happy with staff member Stephanie, always responds in a timely manner and is very accommodating

“Our friends invited us to the Memorial Weekend event on Sunday. Apparently this is the first year they are trying this and the space is beautiful. They had the local fire department out here with the Truck for the families to look at as well as the local police department on horseback. The best part was the Black Hawk Chopper that landed and everyone was able to hop on, take pictures and just experience an up close look. The only hiccup was the food vendors. I don't think they were prepared for the crowds and the lines took forever and/or they ran out of food. The Meadowlark Dairy truck was delivering on service and speed though. Next year I just think the vendors need to be prepared and have their operations a little bit more organized.“

“This is such a great winery! The reds are a little lighter than many Bordeaux blends, and they also have some ligher Italian reds. The Pinot Blanc is one of the best white wines I have ever had, and garden setting is perfect.
If you see some negative reviews here, you quickly notice that it was from a large group of peopke who brought their unruly kids. Kids don't belong at a winery and I appreciate RM keeping the environment peaceful.“

“Great location, beautiful grounds, great wines, and delicious food.
The fried Brussel Sprouts were crispy and not greasy at all. The Margherita Flatbread has fresh pesto and fresh tomatoes.
Their Cabernets have great flavor and are very smooth without the harsh tannins.“
