We had an amazing time at Charles Via Winery in Livermore! We visited with a group of friends and were able to enjoy a lovely picnic, which made the experience feel very private and special.
The setting is beautiful, and the wines were absolutely fantastic. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the gazebo area—it gave us the perfect spot to relax, play our music, and truly enjoy quality time together.

We stopped off here on our last leg of an RV road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco and it was the perfect afternoon! The back garden and patio is beautiful, peaceful tranquility. The wine is absolutely knock out. But more than anything, it was the family feel of the place. Ann was amazing, a highlight of our trip was chatting with her and there were lovely details like the owner doing the art work for the bottles. 5 star recommend!
A hidden gem at the end of the road with a peaceful outside seating area and superb selection of wine. The best part of our visit was talking to Ann who was so friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a relaxed stop at an authentic local winery, this is the one.

Visitors have noted that the winery hosts many special events and live music during the warm months, including a weekend brunch hike, providing a delightful experience.
