“7/23/23 Zach and I stopped by Sultan's Kebab for dinner. We found parking very easily in the parking lot outside the restaurant. There's indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the register and they bring the food to you. The staff at Sultan's Kebab are very friendly and warm. They gave me a few suggestions when I was debating on what to get. To add to the credibility of their delicious food, another customer who waiting in line to purchase food vouched for Sultan's Kebab saying this was her third time here and the food has been amazing every time. Here's what I ordered: - chicken shawarma (mine) - Lamb Shawarma (his) - baba ganoush (to share) Everything came out in 10 minutes. The salad was fresh and crisp. The rice was absolutely fragrant. The chicken and lamb were both tender, juicy and flavorful. The baba ganoush was delicious as well. Would definitely return here!“

“This past year I've been exploring the Livermore Wineries, and one of my friends introduced me to Wood Family Vineyards. I've mainly been to outdoor wineries which can get chilly during the winter months, so the indoor tasting room was perfect for me. Right away, I felt a more home-y, intimate vibe from the staff at Wood Family Vineyards unlike the other wineries I had been to. The staff was incredible and even the owner was there, talking about his favorite wines and starting a conversation with us. You could feel the love and care they put into their craft, and I appreciated that. Every time I come back, I try a new wine that I love! Recently, I tried a rosé during a tasting and loved the tart flavor it had. I have yet to come when they are having live music, but can't wait to experience that too!“

“Solid! Absolutely solid wine. The type where there wasn't really anything wrong with any of the wines. The type where you are pretty tempted to join because you just agree with how the winemaker is making wine. Going to have to come back again here to try the flight again after their next release to see if lightning strikes twice, in which case we'll have to join. Highly recommend if you're at the complex and trying to decide which of the little tasting rooms to check out. Also, if you do decide to join, they dedicate a lot of their space to a members only lounge in the bac, which is pretty fun.Loved the barbera wines the most - both the sparkling and the rose. Bought a few bottles of rose, which is rare because I find rose wine the most boring and one dimensional. But this rose of barbera was fun and interesting.“
“This is the best winery in Livermore. Period. Great wines. Sophisticated philosophy on winemaking. Amazing people, hospitality staff, and humble and friendly owners. These are such wonderful, warm people and 90++ wine that I go back weekly. Additionally, the owner and winemakers are pushing the needle and making great Napa Cabernet Sauvignon as well- Grape Culture. An incredible experience. “Small and kind of quiet little brewery in the back corner of a commercial lot. Beer is pretty good and atmosphere is nice. There's always a lady with an aggressive little dog there when I visit which kind of kills the vibe; her dog attacked mine the first time I visited and barked really aggressively at all the people who came in during my next visit. Otherwise it's a nice little brewery and a good alternative to Altamont.“
“We had the BEST experience at McGrail Winery yesterday! Joy and Paige were excellent hosts! The wines were fantastic, the setting was lovely, and we felt very spoiled by the excellent hospitality! It was such a bonus to be able to bring our cheese and crackers in to the tasting room so that we could enjoy the wines with food! Our hosts were knowledgeable and friendly, and made us feel very at home in the family owned winery! McGrail is high on my recommendation and must visit again list!“

“We left Concannon on account of their sudden change in policy around kids. Las Positas is right down the road, so we popped in for a tasting with our little one and dog and were welcomed with open arms. We joined as members that same day and have loved every bit of it. Great member events, great wine and food, great views, and even better people on staff. Chef Curt is the cherry on top of the operation, even my dog loves him as he always gets a comped plate of salami every time we bring him along. Don't change a thing LP!“

I chose not to remove my previous notes because they are true but so is the fact that everything from the staff, location and wine is worth it. I thought this Winery was amazing however their scheduling is riddled with issues. We read reservations for birthday and they didn't notate that to the staff properly . We set up in the area that we had specifically asked to reserve and then they had us move because they double booked . Even though we booked earlier they still had us move . In addition to this I have been a member of this Winery for some time and on multiple occasions when I showed up to pick up the release bottles they didn't have all of the bottles because they sold out and they are willing to sell the bottles that they have on hold for the members that pay for them in advance . Their response was to tell me that it's okay that wine wasn't that great anyways , as they are telling me that they completely sold out of it and sold my bottle to someone . Because that really convinces me that it was so bad that I don't need to try it . After the second time this happened, I canceled my membership . “There was a holiday fair "shop the hops" with a variety of craft goods, an enjoyable selection of music from the band, samples of their ciders, and tasty food for purchase. It was cold, wet, and drizzle of rain but an enjoyable time. The selection varied from homemade jewelry, to succulents, to fashion accessories for your pets. My friend and I split a mushroom burger that was tasty with fries, they were seasoned well but could have had a little bit less salt on them. Overall an enjoyable afternoon. If you like IPA's and assortment of beers check this place out. For a newbie the samples I received were a hit. The place is located in Livermore on the corner of Telsa and Mines Road, a large sign on the corner on the right.“

“One of my favorite places in Livermore to eat at. We started with the calamari and pretzel bites. She had the fish and chips while I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. No complaints at all ok the food. I just wish they had full bar service the whole time. I was told they couldn’t make me a Bloody Mary on a Saturday evening. “Visited during the busy Christmas holiday week. No reservations but we were able to be seated for the tasting anyway. Had a few waits in between wines since it was so busy. Several people tasting standing at the counters. Friendly service and nice indoor seating made it all a good experience. Our little pup also enjoyed meeting the friendly winery dog, Cooper!“

“We stopped by unplanned and decided to have some baked goods. We purchased one regular croissant, one almond croissant, one small cookie with center topping and one cinnamon swirl. the croissant was very good and so was the almond croissant they were not greasy which is a big important factor but the cookies and the cinnamon swirl were just ok. The place was crowded and the wait was about 10 minutes.“
