Rivers End Brewing Company Brewery • $$
2135 S Vasco Rd Suite J, Livermore

“Awesome little brewery, drove to Livermore to go to a few small breweries and get an authentic brewery experience before going to a disappointing large brewery with snot nosed brat beertenders(try to guess which one that might be). Very small taproom but makes up with really good beer and someone pouring their beers who isn't upset that you're there ordering. Will be back and will skip the famous brewery a stones throw from here“

Altamont Beer Works Brewery • $$

“Excellent selection of craft beers on-tap in a large setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Live music when the weather permits and a food truck in the parking lot. Four-packs to go and a nice selection of shirts. Many large screen TV's for watching sports and large tables for bigger parties. Definitely great beer for a variety of palates.“

Homegrown Hops Brewing Brewery • $
3000 Mines Rd, Livermore

“OK. This spot is the, you know what! Can't count how many times I've passed this up going to Murrieta's Well for wine tasting. This spot was packed each time. Finally had a chance to go last night to what I thought was just watching people playing cornhole and having fun. Ended up subbing for my buddy last night. I had a blast and the vibes at this place is perfect. First looking at their website for beer it seemed small but once you get there you will see a lot more beer options. I only had the hazy which was very good. But I was eye balling their tripple which people rave about. So the beer here is very good. What was a nice surprise was their food. I felt like I was eating from a really good food truck. Made to order which is nice and you get a buzzer when the food is ready. For how many people were there last nigth bathroom was pretty clean. If you like beer and great food with with a chill environment you need to go here!“

“I've visited the Turlock location several times and was eager to try the new concept at this location. The quirky setup isn't ideal for families, being first come first serve, which can be confusing. The staff remained friendly, and the food was generally good. The family-size pulled pork nachos and wings both scored an 8/10, with the wings having a great smoke flavor. However, the buffalo sauce was overly salty and acidic. The BBQ Chicken pizza fell short of CPK quality (forgot photo), with only four small pieces of chicken, lacking BBQ sauce. Overall, it's a great spot for hanging out with friends, enjoying finger food, and I'd rate it over 8/10.“
