“A nice spot for some drinks, music & rotating food carts. It gets busy so plan accordingly. There is a reasonable amount of parking but again… fills up. Numerous drink options — some tasty sours, hazy & IPAs. The food cart items can be hit or miss.“

Hapa’s Brewing Company Brewery • $
722 Laurel St, San Carlos

“Trying this place for the first time on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It's very busy. I'm a little surprised giving this place is like brand new. Hubby discovered this place and dragged me and our dogs over. It's dog friendly even indoors. So that's good news for dog ppl like us. Tons of space for them to really stretch out and relax here. It's a modern rustic style. Really nice. They do have a small outdoor patio with 3 high table barrel setting outside. On a sunny day it could be really nice and relaxing outdoors too. I'm not exactly a beer person but he got me a fruity drink it actually tastes good. So, sure next time I can tag along. They do have some real food so that's a bonus.“

Alpha Acid Brewing Company Brewery • $
121 Industrial Rd #11, Belmont - 1 miles

“Alpha Acid is a great place to enjoy a good beer. The menu is diverse enough to cover adventuresome palates (e.g. sours, barrel aged ales), folks who just want a solid, dependable ale, and people who want to try something more approachable to one who's not a hard-core beer drinker. Lots of seating where you can relax and perhaps play a board game. Usually, there's a food truck nearby if you're hungry.“

Barebottle Brewing Company - Menlo Park Brewery •
550 Oak Grove Ave Suite B, Menlo Park - 5.53 miles

“Very nice brewery located in Menlo Park. Had dinner close by and wanted to drop by for a drink. Parking in the area was easy, and there was a parking lot close by. Their beers are good, not my favorite brewery but everything tasted fine. I felt like the prices here are more expensive for a flight compared to other places, after tip it was $32+. Service was great! Typical brewery, it was pretty loud and even more so with the arcade games. Otherwise, I prefer layout and interior of this location compared to the one in SF.“

Freewheel Brewing Company Brewpubs • $$
3736 Florence St, Redwood City - 4.5 miles

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Freewheel, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. As a craft beer enthusiast, I was drawn in by the promise of a quality Hazy IPA, and I left with not only a contented palate but also a newfound appreciation for their culinary prowess.Let's start with the star of the show – the Hazy IPA. Freewheel has truly mastered the art of crafting a Hazy IPA that's a symphony of hops and malt. The beer poured with a beautiful, hazy golden hue and boasted a delightful aroma that hinted at the tropical and citrus notes within. Each sip was a journey through layers of flavor, from the initial burst of juicy fruits to the subtle undertones of pine. It's evident that the brewers here take pride in their craft, delivering a well-balanced and memorable brew that will keep me coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a revelation. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, succulent meat inside. The buffalo sauce had just the right amount of heat, providing a zesty kick without overpowering the other flavors. The sandwich was artfully assembled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a hint of blue cheese – a combination that elevated the dish to a gourmet level. What sets Freewheel apart is the seamless integration of their beer and food offerings. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to recommend beer pairings for the menu items. The synergy between the Hazy IPA and the buffalo chicken sandwich was particularly noteworthy – each bite complemented by a sip of the refreshing brew, creating a harmonious dining experience. The ambiance of the brewery added to the overall enjoyment. The rustic yet modern décor, combined with the hum of conversation and the occasional clink of glasses, created a convivial atmosphere that encourages patrons to linger and savor the moment. In conclusion, Freewheel is a gem for both beer aficionados and food enthusiasts. The Hazy IPA and buffalo chicken sandwich showcase the commitment to excellence that permeates every aspect of this establishment. I'll certainly be returning to explore more of their offerings and to bask in the delightful marriage of craft beer and culinary artistry. Cheers to Freewheel for a memorable experience!“

Ghostwood Kitchen Brewery •
911 Main St, Redwood City - 2.45 miles

“OMG I love this place! Was invited here with a couple of girlfriends and absolutely loved it. It was a fun experience; the manager was super sweet and gave us some great recommendations. Food proportions were huge. I had the wedge salad (which I love and compared to other restaurants, Ghostwood's wedge salad was superior) I also ordered the Reuben Egg Rolls, I love me a Rueben sandwich so had to try them, and they were very good! Wish I would have taken some pictures, the food not only looked amazing but was full of flavor. Food and drinks were on point! I highly recommend this little hidden gem in downtown Redwood City. I've since came back so far on 3 separate occasions and everything was just as amazing as my first visit.“
