“Ours was an early Sunday dinner so only few customers and therefore good service & quiet atmosphere. I ordered the mixed grill plate which was a great sampler of their traditional meat dishes. Very tasty. I also tried a Turkish beer which complemented the meal nicely. My wife had the shrimp casserole which she thoroughly enjoyed. And our friend ordered the sea bass which also was appreciated. We all look forward to returning for another fine meal in the future.“

“This is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant that delivers a much more premium experience than you might expect. From the moment you walk in, the beautifully designed furniture and elegant gold accents create a sophisticated atmosphere. We instantly liked the place.

We ordered the Combination Platter and the Moussaka. The Combination Platter was good, though not outstanding, and the baba ganoush could have been better. The Moussaka was our first time trying the dish, and we enjoyed it. Portions were extremely generous. In fact, after getting halfway through our meal, we had to ask the server to cancel one of the items we had ordered.

The server was exceptionally friendly and attentive. What stood out most was that he never tried to upsell us, which was a pleasant surprise.

We finished with the Persian Saffron Ice Cream, which came in a generous portion and tasted great.

“This place has AMAZING kabob/salad bowls! Very generous portions, free self serve hot tea, ice water, NICE and BIG outdoor patio with 3 or 4 tvs so if you want to watch a particular game, they can accomodate. The inside area has a vibe all its own. Plenty of single restrooms which is nice. We usually sit outside as it has a nice comfortable breezy patio with many tables. Everyone that works there are so kind and friendly and some are even funny😂 We drive all the way from San Jose just to eat here almost once a week. Prices are VERY REASONABLE which is great as everywhere else has either raised their prices or made their portion size snaller, but I get it. Times are tough for many. Also, walking in downtown Livermore after eating is super chill-its like what all other Nay Area tuwns USED to be like before they got overran with dense stack and pack housing and developments. Its like going back to the 70s almost. If I could own a small farm in rural Livermore, I'd totally relocate and then I'd be at Sultans probably 3+ X a week! GREAT JOB @OWNER! “Had a great family birthday dinner at Bodrum. Food is very flavorful and authentic. We had a mix of cold meze dishes (watermelon with feta, olives, dolmas, spicy atom with bread), several different meat (kabob, tenderloin, salmon salad) and vegetarian (flatbread) mains. Cocktails were inventive and very tasty. Got to try the Turkish coffee martini. The service was friendly and fun. And the most extensive raki list I have seen in the US. Decor is lovely and informal. Really great place!“
