“It's in the same parking lot as a gas station which made it nondescript upon arriving. There's a few waiting chairs inside and a table outside to sit. The restroom is a porter potty so not the most luxurious experience. Customer service was super friendly and quick! We only stumbled upon this place after exploring the trail at Clifton Court Forebay and wanted something close by. I had 0 expectations but wow!!!!! Ordered the beef tongue taco and menudo and got several types of salsa and the order came with a free bag of chips. The chips are my favorite kind to get at mexican restaurants. Super crunchy and tasted freshly made. The beef tongue taco looked small at first and the tortillas were very soggy but the tongue itself was so good!! I enjoy beef tongue but at restaurants sometimes they over season it or chop it too small but these were cut to the perfect size and just tasted high quality and really good. The menudo was honestly one of the best menudo's I have had. The broth was AMAZING, just a squeeze of lime and I could drink that broth all the time. The pig stuff seemed to be a mix of tripe and trotters/feet. Very simple soup but the pig organs were also chopped to a nice size. Sometimes restaurants put huge chunks which makes it hard to chew and eat. This tiny hole in the wall next to a gas station was definitely worth it. I am not even the biggest fan of mexican food but I would definitely come back!”

“Wines are always amazing! Great place to meet friends and relax. Family friendly, open space for kids to run, fly kites, etc. We're from the Midwest and visit this area frequently. We always make a point of visiting Campos and picking up a new wine!”

“We were meeting friends in Half Moon Bay for a picnic and had promised to bring fried chicken. The Colonel was closed, but we read about Krispy and decided to try them. It’s in the convenience store in a gas station. Didn’t look too promising, but we were pleasantly surprised. They were just bringing out freshly cooked pieces of chicken and chicken tenders. Terrific! Everyone had their fill, nothing was left. Perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned plus a very pleasant staff!”

“Stop by to try this place out after hanging out in the area. I love Italian food so I thought why not. Best decision I ever made. The pasta was so fresh, the sauce and meatballs were so flavorful. If I ever went to Italy I would have imagined that the food and atmosphere would be just the same. The service was absolutely amazing as well. Definitely a must try Italian restaurant in Brentwood.”

“Came here for lunch for the first time this week and so glad that I did. Ordered a barbacoa taco with cheese with a side of consomme, a chicharron gordita and the green Agua Fresca that had chia seeds (I forget the name). Everything was super tasty. First impression was that the taco was a little small but it was actually generously stuffed with barbacoa. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu.”

“Had lunch here for the first time today. Food was amazing. I would recommend their milkshakes, they have a whole variety of different flavors you can mix together. What really made this experience stand out to me was the excellent customer service. More specifically from our server Rachel. She did an excellent job making us feel welcomed and heard. The positive energy she brought was very contagious! Definitely a place you have to visit if you're in the area. Will be coming back 100% :)”

“This is my go to place. I have had some delicious Burgers. But Hd remains consistent the stove is friendly the food comes out quick and hot and the pricing is very fair. I'm always greeted with a friendly face. The inside it pretty much standard I love all the plants it's laid back it the local neighbors burger joint . I have not had a bad burger yet.”

We came up from the peninsula on our way to our boat in the Delta and stopped for breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant in Oakley. The restaurant was in tip-top shape, well taken care of and managed, food was absolutely yummy, and Veronica had a smile on her face during our entire visit. She was just exceptional and spectacular! “Usually I order online and take to-go, but last Saturday I went to dine in and there was a server, she was so sweet and beautiful. Her service was fast and she helped us with everything we needed. We ordered chicken Baryani, 6 perice tandoori chicken and butter chicken and rice. The food was delicious. I recommend everyone to come and eat here. Fast amazing service and delicious food. “I knew exactly what I wanted before I even hit the door. Rock Road Shake with extra nuts. But they didn't have walnuts and I had to had to settle for peanuts. MEH.The shake was excellent flavor but hey $8.77 for a 20 oz shake? that's over 40 cents per oz. HMMMMMMMMM not sure if I will go back for that kind of price.”
