“The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“

“This was the best Thai food I ever had. It was sort of like Chinese style on the portion size of each dish it's sharing dish. Fried fish was my favorite it was very delicious, it's must have! It has sweetness to it, it balance out. The spicy fish soup was very spicy but it's spicily good! I asked medium spicy but it still pretty spicy so if you cannot handle the spiciness don't get medium level, get lower level for your comfort. The chicken was also pretty good, with their in house peanut dressing, paring very well together. I got the Chai Tea. Their food overall is great very delicious. The server is good, but little bit of English barrier but that's no issue at all that is also mean the food is good. And it was!“

I would always recommend coming here to eat because their takeout is always less quantity than what they have when you dine-in. “We walked in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The server was friendly, professional and quick. We ordered the Dragon Balls for appetizers which were warm and fresh to taste. For entrees, we got the Chicken Pan Dong, Glazed Duck and Duck Salad. All three tasted great. The woman taking orders is very busy but still kind and thoughtful. I have celiac disease and a severe fish allergy, so eating out is always a challenge. “We came on a Monday evening which is a slow night in general so the restaurant was very empty. We ordered the Bulgogi bowl, spicy pork bowl and cheese Bulgogi fries. It was a great value meal because of the amount of food there was in each bowl. The food tasted good but since it was a slow evening for them, I think a lot of their food is made in advance. Elements like the meat and the egg don't come out super hot and fresh tasting. Maybe it would be different if it was a busier night and they were making items to order. The Bulgogi cheese fries were decent but the areas with the cheese got soggy really quickly. Probably wouldn't order that again. I would recommend this place for the great value and comforting food. I just wish some of the key components of the bowls were made to order so it's hot and fresh tasting.“

This was my first time at their Menlo Park location and aside from the space everything else is similar--Instagram-worthy decor, elegantly styled dishes, and warm service. The interior is quite spacious with booths and tables for small and large parties. There's also an outside patio, though the CalTrain is right across and quite loud. We were taken care of throughout our meal by the hospital and friendly workers, without it being overbearing. The thing about Farmhouse Kitchen is that they know how to make their dishes appealing to both the eye and mouth. Dishes include traditional and non-traditional Thai foods. My friend and I both had the Yellow Curry with Tofu and a Side of Jasmine Rice. Though we weren't asked for the spice level, the curry was sweet and flavorful with a lingering spice. It was on the runnier side and I wish we did get more rice to enjoy it to the full extent. Portions were decent and we had leftovers--but note that dishes are on the pricier side. Farmhouse Thai Kitchen provides a cute and creative Thai cuisine dining experience. They have multiple locations around the Bay. Their Menlo Park location is off Merrill Street with limited street parking in the area. This is a place I enjoy going to occasionally but wouldn't seek out.“

We like pad Thai or pad see ew beef depending on the day. We also mix it up with a small broth: tom yum or tom kha with squid. We have curry puff (kind of like an empanada) as well as moo yang (BBQ pork). You can order sticky rice, jasmine or brown rice to go with the meal. “This is my go to Thai restaurant. My favorite dish is the lunch special "Red Curry Prawn". I like the prawns simmered in coconut milk with red curry, and pineapples, tomatoes, bamboo shoots, peas, bell peppers, Thai basil. The red curry with coconut milk has a hint of sweetness, which I like it very much. By the way, you can choose the spicy level based on your preference (default spicy is medium). I like the Lunch Special version because it also comes with salad, fried spring roll and sour soup.“

Portion sizes are great, lots of menu options and priced very reasonably. The fact that this place has duck on the menu is a big plus for me and they have Thai iced coffee which the restaurant I used to go to no longer has on their menu. Another great aspect was that they actually didn't bring appetizers and entrees all out at once like most Asian restaurants do. I want to enjoy my appetizer without my entree sitting there getting cold. These folks understand this!?? And there were so many great dessert options, I had trouble choosing. “In December we ordered from here for the birthday dinner of visiting family. 8 people altogether, some foodies with high standards, one toddler, some dietary restrictions... All the food was superb! Every dish we tried was a hit. The roti curry was a favourite (family are from the Carribbean, so they had high hopes for this and were not disappointed), green curry and spring rolls were also amazing. Salads and Siam rolls were very good. When we went to collect the stuff were incredibly helpful and carried all the food to our car even though we hadn't parked that close by, and they us all iced milk tea for the ride home. Probably the best takeout I've had in the bay area for a long time.“
