So I don’t understand how did other reviewer saying get sick from this store. Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing. “Been here a few times already. Tonight we tried the beef pho. You have a choice of raw steak, meatballs or both. I tried both. Really good! A lot of noodles so it is a big meal. Next time I'm going for raw steak, not that the meatballs were no good, just a matter of taste. Definitely will be back! Vietnamese iced coffee for dessert and that was heaven!“

“Amazing! We finally found a Thai spot in Fremont that makes amazing tom kha soup. The first time we ate here we were able to get a table! It’s a smaller place and was very busy. We ordered a variety of items to get a taste of the place. It was also a special meal as this was our last date night before our daughter was born. We were not disappointed. Besides the tom kha soup, we also ordered Thai iced tea, Thai iced coffee, fresh spring rolls, yellow curry with chicken, green curry with chicken, two jasmine rice, and matcha cake with Thai tea ice cream. The soup was our favorite by far! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Also appreciate that you can choose the spice level on everything. I can only do mild and my husband does super spicy so he likes Thai hot. Even though they were very busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed to leave so they could get an empty table. We appreciate that!
We liked this place so much that later that week when we left the hospital to bring our baby girl home, we ordered two tom kha soups for pick up. It tasted so good! They give you a good portion and is full of chicken and mushrooms. The chicken is tender and soaks up the lemongrass coconut broth goodness. The depth of flavors makes you want more and more. It was a very tasty meal to come home to. Also appreciate that they clearly mark which soup is spicy.
A couple weeks later when my mother in law was in town, we ordered for pick up as we wanted her to try this place. We ordered spicy tom kha soup with chicken, mild tom kha soup with chicken, red curry with chicken, green curry with chicken, pad Thai with chicken, jasmine rice, and pineapple fried rice with chicken. The soup was still the best in my opinion. Both curries were flavorful and had a good amount of veggies and meat. The pineapple fried rice was pretty tasty with the raisins and cashews. The pad Thai was a bit disappointing though. The noddles were thinner and not traditional pad Thai noddles. There was hardly any sauce so it was dry and the noodles stuck together. I also wish there was a bit more chicken and tofu.
This is now our go to Thai spot in Fremont. We wouldn’t order the pad Thai again but will for sure be back for the delicious tom kha soup and tasty curries. Highly recommend this place!“

Cashew Nut with chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, as was Pad Krapow (Sweet Basil) with fried tofu. Our food was satisfactory, but nothing special. Would be open to trying it again, though it's a bit pricey, considering jasmine rice is a $3 add-on.“

“Long overdue review, But I've been going to Thai Elephant Express since they've open. I can remember when their Pad Thai prices were around 8-9$ a plate! (Miss these prices )

Although prices have gone up, the quality hasn't changed. Everything I've tried here is delicious.

My go order is usually the 2 plate combo with, Rice, Garlic chicken and either the yellow curry chicken or tamarin fish.

If you haven't tried their Pad Thai, I would strongly recommend this as well. The portion sizes in everything you order is very generous, and their service is friendly and quick!

Parking can be a bit crazy, so sometimes I'll park across the street at Target, and then walk over.

“Thaibodia is a great spot if you are eating with family or a group. Portions are generous and work really well for family style sharing, so ordering a few dishes is usually more than enough for everyone.

Food comes out hot, flavorful, and consistently good. Nothing over the top, just solid Thai dishes at a good value. We almost always have leftovers, which is a nice bonus.

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

They have a large menu with a lot of staples you'll find at most Thai restaurants. What surprised us was that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu, meaning we were able to order and modify items to be made fully vegan so everything could have a little bit of everything. We started with their Roti and Papaya Salad, both came with large portions and with great flavor. The salad was actually spicy and refreshing. Our two mains included a Red Curry with Soft Tofu and a Fried Tofu Basil plate, and some brown rice on the side. The tofu basil dish was our definite favorite. The tofu was cooked very well and we kept going back for more. While higher in pricing, the food and portions were pretty good and the ambiance was one that really stood out for us.“
