“We met up for dinner, I am glad we reserved a table because it was crowded on a Friday evening. We ordered appetizers. fried calamari and roti murtala with sauce. Flavorful, cooked just right. We then ordered our meal: pad se ew, pineapple rice, beef rendang, sizzling lamb, sauted kang kong, turmeric rice. The food came out quickly. We all ate too much but we still ordered dessert: mango with sticky rice, fried banana and fried ice cream with banana. All were tasty. Service was nice. My friends want to add it to our restaurant rotation. It was close to the flavors my husband had when he visited Thailand.“
“Food is yummerz and service is superb. We had a super kind waiter who didn't rush us even though we stayed a little after closing. Initially, the serving portion looks light for what you pay for but it is actually quite filling. My friend and I loved our noodles ???“
“Excellent food, good quality, quanity and budget frienly. I really like this restaurant. The food is excellent, and they serve generous portions for the price. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is good. If you're on a budget and want a quality meal, this is a great place to go.“
“This has been my favorite over the last couple of months. A no frills restaurant with limited menu but the quality and portion size are amazing ! My to go are the woon sen noodles, green curry, pad thai and thai iced tea ! Probably one of the best thai places in the bay area“
“Wow!! I'm really impressed with this local restaurant. It's a very cozy and intimate store with friendly staff. Service is quick and attentive! Here's what I have tried these past few months:+ Pad Thai Crispy Tiger Prawns (5/5): Soooo delicious! This is a MUST TRY. The shrimp are cooked perfectly and make this dish so addicting. The pad thai itself is really great too! I am getting hungry just writing about it...+ Chicken Pad See-Ew (3/5): It's okay. The noodles are great texture and it's seasoned well! The portion was very generous too. However, the American broccoli and carrot addition is odd. They were also undercooked.+ Khao Soi (5/5): INCREDIBLE! If you love creamy curry, the broth is perfect for you. They add an entire chicken leg in this, which is fall-off-the-bone tender. The noodles stick together though, so be sure to toss the noodles as soon as they hit your table.“
“Great little restaurant in Willow Glen. Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. We had wor wonton soup , Chinese chicken salad and beef chow fun. The food came Out very quickly and was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the beef chow fun. Definitely will be back to eat here again.“
“Had lunch here w/my GF the other day. Came here on a friend's recommendation. We each had the chicken pad-thai lunch special [hers w/no heat/spice, mine with heat/spice]. She had a soft drink/can and I had the plain iced tea [one glass, NO free refills, for 3-bucks]. The food came out quickly and was tasty but we did not get the salads that were supposed to come with the lunch special meal [at least, that was what was on their menu]. The serving was just OK and a bit underwhelming, for 16-bucks per meal. This is one of the most expensive Thai lunch places I have eaten at lately and I was not that impressed [hence, the four-star review]. You can do much better [quality AND quantity] at more reasonably priced Thai places in Fremont and/or anywhere else, for that matter. Service was good but we were the only ones eating in, at the time. Probably, won't return.“
“Small but excellent place w really fast service. Authentic tasting Thai food . The egetabels were super fresh and crunchy. Highly recommend the khao soi, the chef was super accommodating to switch out the fried chicken with fried tofu instead. YUM.Vegetarian options: Basil tofu, Tom kha, khao soo, curries, pad thai, pad see eaw and more!“
“This place is almost always busy during peak hours. Everything is always full of flavor. They pack their 2 item entrees full of which ever dishes you choose, plus they add extra sauce/soup to your rice. You can't go wrong with either yellow or green curry, Thai basil fried rice, their basil chicken, pad Thai, pad see ew, tamarind fish, honestly everything on their menu is delicious. Their Thai tea is one of the best in the area. I recommend calling ahead for your order if it's a main dish like pad Thai or basil fried rice. The location is a bit tiny but they still offer tables for parties of 2 and 4.They are also located in a plaza full of dessert options. This is my go to spot for Thai and I always recommend this place when deciding on what to eat.“
“Authenticity: NO I'm big on authenticity of ethic food. When I eat out at a Thai, Laos, or Cambodian restaurants expected food to true to core of authenticity but this one is just another typical khmer/Thai restaurant that Carter towards western eaters. I'm aware that most do so to maintain the flow of business, but I specifically asked them for a true Khmer/Thai dish but it wasn't there. Service: Excellent! I'm used to having a 3 course meals and based on the price of dishes I've asked what the portion was like. The server was very helpful and informative and said "for one person the portion each dish is too big....you'll have to take much of it home." Atmosphere: Inviting. Overall, good. they serve a wide selection of wines and cocktails drink. Place is cleaned, organized, and uncluttered.“
