“Authenticity: NO I'm big on authenticity of ethic food. When I eat out at a Thai, Laos, or Cambodian restaurants expected food to true to core of authenticity but this one is just another typical khmer/Thai restaurant that Carter towards western eaters. I'm aware that most do so to maintain the flow of business, but I specifically asked them for a true Khmer/Thai dish but it wasn't there. Service: Excellent! I'm used to having a 3 course meals and based on the price of dishes I've asked what the portion was like. The server was very helpful and informative and said "for one person the portion each dish is too big....you'll have to take much of it home." Atmosphere: Inviting. Overall, good. they serve a wide selection of wines and cocktails drink. Place is cleaned, organized, and uncluttered.“

“My partner and I loved Red Chili! The thit nuong (vietnamese bbq pork) was perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The thai curry was excellent and not sweet (a bit more authentic). The peach slush was creamy, flavorful, and very sweet. The thai tea was excellent with non-dairy coconut cream. There's some tables inside for dine-in, but you eat with takeout utensils.“

“Highly recommend this Thai spot. The woman Siri, is so sweet and will make you feel right at home! The food, compared to other local thai places give it a run for the money. The pineapple fried rice, Tom kha and the pad see ew are all on point. The restaurant is a bit smaller than other restaurants, so please call ahead of time if you decide to bring a big party so they can try to accommodate. I believe all their dishes have a happy blend of spice and flavor, depending on what you order. If you order something and it may be too spicy, you can ask for the spice instead on the side and add to your liking.“

“Absolutely delighted with my visit to R-HaaN Thai restaurant! The food was exceptional, with vibrant flavors and perfect seasoning in every dish. The presentation was equally impressive; each plate was beautifully arranged, making the dining experience as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The service was top-notch—attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars!“

“This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“

“My daughter and I absolutely love the Restaurant .we visit every week, and it’s become our favorite spot for delicious meals. The moment we walk in, we’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere, but it’s the food that keeps us coming back.
Every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. My daughter’s favorite is the Eggplant Fish dish, and I always look forward to the it. Each bite is full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and made with fresh ingredients. The balance of taste in every dish is just incredible, and the portions are generous . We can’t recommend it· enough if you’re looking for a place with consistently mouthwatering food. It’s our weekly go-to, and we always leave happy and satisfied.“

“If you're craving Cambodian cuisine, make sure to visit Angkor Chef, a fantastic Cambodian restaurant located in downtown San Jose. Owned by Channy Laux - Chef and her husband, they've been serving up delicious dishes for about 6 months now. Tina and I were thoroughly impressed by their excellent service and mouthwatering food. The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern design, and we particularly loved the beef skewers (សាច់គោចាកាក់). We definitely will come back for more. #supportlocalbusiness #khmerfood“

“Excellent Food - I love their Black Pepper fish and their Thai Spicy Chicken. One of the best Halal restaurants out there... they serve everything in plastic - plates & forks - similarly don't expect much in the way of ambience or decor - we mostly just get food to go.“

“Food was excellent!! We got cucumber salad, Thom yom soup, Thai cashew shrimp, shrimp cakes. Everything was delicious!! Atmosphere is limited, service intermittent. They do a good take out biz so not as adept at dining in.
Vegetarian options: Most dishes could be ordered as vegetarian, protein additions were optional.“

“It’s not a fancy place and we only come here for our main dish, the famous Thai boat noodles. IMO, this is the best outside of San Francisco. If anyone is aware, the broth is hard to get right and this place does. I have had this 9 times so far over the last couple of years. If you have been to Thailand and crave boat noodles, this is the place to come.
Parking: If you don’t mind walking a block, there’s plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. There is a ramp“

“I recently dined at bistro siam restaurant, and I must say that the papaya salad was incredibly fresh and tasty. The flavors were vibrant, and it was a great start to the meal. The pad see ew was also bursting with flavor. It really hit the spot. Overall, the food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The only downside is that the place is a bit outdated, but the delicious food more than made up for it. Highly recommend!“

“Love love all their dishes!!
Food is excellent! We are vegetarian and it's probably one of the best Thai food I have had! Service is also great, and staff is friendly. They are also good about reminding you of their spice levels. Ambiance is nice as well-traditional style!
Love their papaya salad and Penang curry! Their eggplant basil is also delicious!
Highly recommend this spot if you like Thai food.“

“Nice Thai restaurant that has beautiful, elegant interior decor with fancy chandeliers and chic velvet tufted seats.
They have an array of Thai dishes where we were recommended the yellow curries, Tom gha or coconut milk soup which hit the spot, and crab fried rice.
All the food and appetizers we tried were delicious and we were able to celebrate a birthday with their yummy mango sticky rice.“

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“Lunch time on a hot day. No a-c. Door open. But not even a ceiling fan. Aside from the temp, the inside was very nice. Beer could have been colder, but was o.k. Lunch specials fairly priced. Came with egg roll, soup, small salad and entree. Egg roll was pretty mushy on the inside. Entree was good and they delivered the spice level I requested, was nice and spicy. Only saw one bit of basil though. Not enough for a dish that has basil in the name. Super great service...a very nice lady. I will be back when it is a cooler day.“

“Chanced upon this hole in the wall kind of restaurant across from SJSU campus, craving for some good Thai food. We ordered Thai Iced Tea, Fried Chicken over Fried Rice, Vegetarian Egg Rolls and the Lamb Curry Speciality all for $59, including a $2 extra for using Amex credit card.
Lots of piping hot food, well plated and served by a sweet hostess. If not for the inside run down decor, this restaurant is worth every penny. Like they say, don’t judge a book by it’s cover…food here tastes pretty awesome if you come in hungry!“

“Affordable and delicious southeast Asian and Chinese food! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious with beautiful dishes.
We had the Singapore Stir Fried Noodles, the Pad Thai, and the Mango Eggplant.
They also take food allergies very seriously and can accommodate dishes accordingly.
Parking can be a little difficult with only 6-7 spaces in front of the restaurant.“
