“This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“

“We recently visited Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Saratoga and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

We ordered the Panang Curry with Brown Rice, and both were prepared very well. The curry had a rich, creamy texture with a nice balance of sweetness, spice, and authentic Thai flavors. The vegetables were fresh, and the overall dish was satisfying and comforting. The brown rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the flavorful curry.

While we genuinely enjoyed the meal, we’ve had slightly better Panang Curry at a few Thai restaurants in Cupertino, where the flavors were a bit more bold and complex. That said, Bai Tong still serves a delicious and authentic version that’s well worth trying, especially if you’re in the Saratoga area.

Overall, the combination of good food, friendly service, and a pleasant ambiance made for a very enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for quality Thai food in Saratoga, Bai Tong is definitely worth a visit. “We just ordered dinner from Blue Mango tonight. What a treat! We had the pineapple fried rice, pad thai, mango curry, bamboo, and my favorite mango salad. Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing. And you should have seen the size of the bottle of hand sanitizer available for anyone to use! Let's support our local businesses and keep Blue Mango going!“

“Had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. We had the papaya salad (tum luang prabang) and it was very flavorful although a bit spicier than I would expect. We had the khao soi which was flavorful. We also had the hang leh curry which was my absolute favorite, it was so rich and deep with a beautiful flavor profile. Our waitress was very kind and got me a milk-based drink when she saw me struggling with the spice in the papaya salad. Portion sizes were medium, although a bit on the smaller side. Ambience was beautiful although a bit noisy from the pub next door. All in all, great experience and I will be returning.“

Pros: Food is amazing. You can taste the freshness and ingredients. Especially in those sauces. And the spring rolls are to die for. Sushi and sashimi were perfectly cut and prepared and plating was beautiful. Also, service was on point. For being in that location for only a week you could tell they have good leadership and training because everything was very smooth and fast. Even after a big rush of tables, ticket times were very fast. Cons: The new location is very intimate. Read, not a lot of seats. And that’s fine. But this is not a location for a big group and once they are busy it’s filled immediately. Go early or call ahead. Great for a date night or double date though.“

Order was ready upon arrival and pickup was quick and easy. Everything was packaged appropriately. It was nice that they were able to accommodate pretty much all of my dietary modification requests. Nothing was salty. We got a mix of mild and medium spice levels, but neither were spicy to me. All the food was good and as expected. Nothing extraordinary or bad. Unlike other Thai restaurant, a veggie dish come with tofu as your choice of protein but here it's either vegetable or tofu. If you want a mix then it's a extra. I think this should be changed.“

“This is a beautiful restaurant, very posh decor. The food has been consistently good. I most recently had the chef's special Salmon in Banana Leaf and it was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. The sauce was delightful as well. There is no wine list, no alcohol to speak of, but a refreshing Lemongrass drink or Thai Iced Tea are on offer.“
