“I come here very often! I really like the egg sandwiches, bagels, and club sandwiches. The donuts are very average, I have not had a fresh one from here before or one that really impressed me. Their coffee is also very simple so don't expect anything fancy there. The staff are very quick and usually friendly although there are some I feel I have irritated just by picking up my order. I am a very self concious person though so maybe I'm imagining things. I am really glad this place exists. I love that they have their own online ordering system that they manage in house! Let's go independence from big corporations!! I'm also excited to see that they're expanding next door and getting a drive thru later this year. Overall, highly recommend.“

“I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant and was a little disappointed that there was mayonnaise and avocado on the sandwich, there was not mention of either on the menu when looking at what the menu said the sandwich had. My girlfriend had the Belgian waffle and a side of two eggs, she was disappointed there was powdered sugar on it when she stated that she didn’t want anything on the waffle. Overall the food was good and we did eat the food. The staff here is very friendly.“

The difference between this version of Bill of fare as opposed to the other owners is the size of the restaurant as well as no one rushing you to leave! “I walked in at 7:30 first customers of the day and I was greeted with kindness. I sat down and I ordered a delightful strawberry banana fruit smoothie which was brought to me quickly. Then I ordered two pancakes and a side of bacon which was brought incrediblely fast. was pretty good compared to other cafe's. My experience here was great and I would highly recommend Rick's Cafe if you're near Los Altos and looking for a great breakfast or lunch.“
