“The place was empty when we got there. We ordered fish and chips, a veggie omelette and chocolate pancakes. All were very good. I thought the fish was a bit extra salty but loading with tarter sauce made it better. The server was very courteous and timely. One other person came and left while we were there but other than that, we were the only customers in the place. I guess 5am is too early for most folks.“

“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! “I walked in at 7:30 first customers of the day and I was greeted with kindness. I sat down and I ordered a delightful strawberry banana fruit smoothie which was brought to me quickly. Then I ordered two pancakes and a side of bacon which was brought incrediblely fast. was pretty good compared to other cafe's. My experience here was great and I would highly recommend Rick's Cafe if you're near Los Altos and looking for a great breakfast or lunch.“
