“My wife and I got our appointment done nearby and we happened upon this hole in the wall. When we stepped inside, I felt as if I left the Bay Area. It was as if I was transported to a small, diverse mountain village and I was visiting the local cafe.

There are no bells and whistles, it was basic coffee and delicious, well made, and fairly priced food. I feel like it's a family owned business and you can feel and taste the care in every bite of breakfast I ate.

We already cannot wait to come here again and try a new item on the menu. This is truly a rustic feeling gem in the area. I've always seen it and I can finally say I ate here and looking forward to having more meals in this establishment.“

I got the Marti’s special omelet with potatoes. It was ok. The coffee was not strong and tasted instant made. I wish you could customize your own omelet, it would be great!“

“1111 Solano is a new location for this restaurant. Previously near Craneway and before the pandemic in Point Richmond. Same chef, same staff, and same excellent food and service.“

I greatly advise stopping in and giving it a try, there's nothing I've ever been disappointed in ordering since I've been coming about seven or so years ago, on and off.

The staff are all friendly, but make it before the 20 minutes til close time, they usually lock doors if there's a big enough lull, as I would do if I owned a place like this

“This was the most unassuming place I've ever been. I was taken aback by the size of it once inside but felt very welcome by the staff. As everyone has said, Q's Benedict is the bee's knees, and the Vietnamese coffee is a perfect pairing. If you ask the right question, the man will take you on a special journey where there's a random couch cushion, secret hallways and a garage. You will end up in the most lovely-smelling place that you won't want to leave but alas, you must get back to your meal.

“A quaint little cozy restaurant on the corner. What a wonderful restaurant this is. I’ve been here before about five years ago, and my sister brought me back here and it was just as good as it was the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the hashbrowns and to be honest, they were probably the best hashbrowns I ever had a nice amount of portion that was crunchy in the outside and light and fluffy inside. The breakfast I got was a standard breakfast, but was fantastic. The eggs were brilliantly cooked and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was awesome and provided us with great service throughout the morning. I would highly recommend this place.“

“Great, no frills neighborhood breakfast and coffee shop. Traditional selections served plainly and quickly. Front tables situated by large windows make for great people and scenery watching.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and bathroom. Maneuvering will be tight but tables/chairs can accommodate.“

“We got the chicken provolone and the smoked turkey avocado sandwiches. The sandwiches were flavorful, but it really a place to take out. It is a really small place and the outside eating experience was shaded and not very good. Take out is the way to eat here.“

“The service provided here was one of the best. I came in with my brunette partner and we didn't feel discriminated against. Gricelda was very kind.

Our food came out quickly and hot. The portions were very generous for the price. And the dishes were delicious. Gricelda brought us a homemade green sauce.

“First off this has been at this location for years and it’s definitely time for some of the booth back cushions to be replaced. I went here for breakfast on 11/2/24 and our waitress Carla was absolutely awesome. I think the location was short staffed and I have to admit Carla was working her butt off providing great service to all the patrons she was assigned all over the whole restaurant. She stayed smiling and was still attentive to us and that’s really cool and she was in costume. The food was really good and came out pretty fast due to the place having lots of folks. Only thing you gotta watch out for is the pricing on the Build Your Own Omelette. Each thing you add is 3.00 on top of the 15.00 omelette price and at most other Iphop it’s only 1.29 for each ingredient added.“
