Bagels and croissants are both delicious. I havent had any drinks from here yet as I just make tea at home. Its really popular here though so I imagine their drinks are as good as the food.

Ive tried the asiago bagel with a Lil mayo, bacon egg and cheese as well as the croissant with sausage egg and cheese and hot sauce. Highly recommend the hot sauce here, it doesnt taste like a hot sauce ive had before. Its a little sweet and not too spicy or vinegary. I got one of each today for 11.75. I didnt know if I should tip via venmo, so I didnt, so ill bring extra cash next time.

Even if I didnt live as close as i do, id come here.

The only downside is there is no place to sit. Its intended to get your breakfast needs and scoot scoot.“

“This is a GREAT little local cafe! But it is very small and gets busy fast, so go early or you will have to wait to get in.
The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable (for San Francisco) and everything is delicious!
But like most good places in the city, parking sucks and it's crowded.

“Needed a solid breakfast before a long day of walking the city and Heist delivered. I grabbed a breakfast burrito and a vanilla latte. The burrito was huge, packed with flavor and not just a bunch of filler. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The staff was super efficient despite the morning rush. It’s a bit pricier than a standard deli, but you definitely get what you pay for. 10/10 will be back.“

“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! “FANTASTIC BREAKFAST TACOS!! I can't recommend getting breakfast catered from Early Bird Tacos enough. Our order was delivered on time and I love that there was variety of tacos built into the order and I didn't have to pick which ones I wanted. There were even gluten free and vegetarian options. My personal favorite was the gold rush taco but they all sounded great!“

I was out slinging stuff around with Wally the Weasel ..we didn't break anything and nobody had to go to the hospital, but it was time to make our getaway, and we found ourselves right in front of the 16th Street Diner! Well, we went in, and we couldn't decide between a burgers or a sandwiches so I asked the person to surprise us..just make mine bigger!

It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. “I’m so glad I discovered this neighborhood gem. The place was high energy on a Saturday and I sat at the bar counter. Great service on arrival, they were warm and welcoming. I ordered the fresh orange juice with steak and eggs. I liked how musicians and bands would walk in and perform a few songs. What a cool vibe. I could tell this was a family run business and everyone played their part to make sure everything was smooth. The steak and eggs plate was fantastic and a great price for San Francisco. “Arrived about 9am on Tuesday, we were the second patrons to sit down so seating was ample. The waitress was the restaurants manager/ owner of this local Portola gem that’s got great food!
Breakfast At Tiffany’s was the best pit stop on the way to our departing cruise for a quick bite (2 eggs and a side of their thick extra crisp bacon strips - ask for them to make it extra crispy - it’s so worth it!)

“Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“

“The donuts here are out of this world good. Especially the apple fritters, cinnamon buns, and crumb cake donut. And the coffee is really good too. Not too strong and bitter. Just right.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and quick with a smile.

There are tons of other breakfast and lunch offerings from the grill but when they have the best donuts in SF, and quite possibly the world, why try anything else. I have lived in 16 countries on 3 continents, and travelled to dozens more, and the donuts here are by far the best I have ever had.

The place is a hot spot for breakfast and lunch but as the staff is so efficient and helpful you never have to wait long.

I gave the atmosphere a 5 star because if you come to a traditional, old style, American artisan donut emporium and expect something other than basic accoutrements, you’re in the wrong place. The place is not chi-chi or frou-frou, but it is down home, comfortable and clean.“

“Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious: NY steak(medium), pancakes, crispy hasbrowns, over easy eggs. I asked for onions and bell peppers on my corned beef hash and it was amazing.
