Glen Park Cafe Reviews
This is a friendly neighborhood breakfast place, the food is good, the service is good, sometimes they are busy, but thanks for still maintaining tableside service instead of QR CODE, they are animal friendly and even provide water for the dogs, Kind and warm restaurant, will go back again
Great food! I’ve had a few breakfasts a year here for @ 30 years and it’s always getting better—decent coffee, sweet service, ride your bike over & tuck in! Thanks Moonlight
Brunch just how I like it. Great cafe for brunch. The pancakes were cooked just how I like them, fluffy and full of flavor. Not stingy with the chocolate chips 😀. Loved the country fried steak. I like my sunny side up eggs runny and am sure they would have been, but unfortunately they placed the steak on top of the eggs which cooked the yolk. Glen Park Cafe is a classic neighborhood gem, perfect for weekend breakfast or a late lunch. While the cafe isn't large, the food is consistently great. The Classic Breakfast Sandwich and Bagel Sandwich are popular choices, featuring thick bacon that adds to their tastiness. The Pancake combo, especially with special raspberry pancakes, is a highlight, topped with vanilla bean whip cream and fresh raspberries. Although the combo doesn't include potatoes, the side of potatoes is flavorful, and all menu items are available a la carte. The service is friendly, with staff who seem to enjoy their work, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere, even on busy days. The Santa Barbara quesadilla has also received praise, along with the Tuna melt and salad. The pancakes remain a favorite, but the omelette and burrito options are equally delicious. Parking can be a challenge, but for those who prefer public transport, the Muni 44 bus and Glen Park BART station are nearby. The experience and quality food make Glen Park Cafe worth a visit for both locals and visitors alike.
