“The Jelly Donut shop on 24th st. is a delightful treasure that promises a taste of nostalgic sweetness. My first visit had me seeing a rainbow of bright, colorful jelly-filled donuts & eclair varieties being the standout stars, praiseworthy for their perfect balance of sweetness and generous filling.
The friendly staff and quick service adds to their charm, being so kind as to toss in a few free donut holes with my guava jelly filled donut.
Overall, a delightful spin of unique flavors nestled in an old school donut hole making delightful treats that keeps locals and visitors alike coming back for more.“

“Breakfast sandwiches are legit! Simple and good and plenty of options. Used to go to Eats for breakfast before they revamped the menu and made everything expensive with little value. Donuts are fine - I think sometimes they’re over baked in my opinion but yes yes yes to breakfast sandos. Theyre also open early if you’re passing by on the way for a day trip or something.“

“Bob's. It's 3:30am, you're still drunk, just managed to walk thru the Tenderloin, nothing-s open.....and you see the GIANT donuts in the window that are the size of a Frisbee, and maybe a guy taking a pee outside, you know you've found your spot for donuts“

“Delicious vegan donuts, they have some staple flavors and some that switch monthly. We tried all the 5 flavors they had, the staples: Spiced chocolate, Chocolate Rose, Chocolate Star Anise, and the October special flavors: Candied Orange Blossom and Cinnamon Apple. The chocolate ones were a bit more cake-donut like but they were all good! I recommend the spiced chocolate and cinnamon apple, can’t wait to try next month’s flavors!“

“WITHOUT A DOUBT IN MY MIND OR BELLY, BOBS DONUTS ARE THE BEST DONUTS IN SAN FRANCISCO AND QUITE POSSIBLY ALL OF CALIFORNIA.
I walk the dogs of a friend near the baker st Bob's and stop in frequently, as a small luxury on a fixed income with volunteer gigs, this donut is worth putting change aside for daily.
Imagine my surprise and absolute elation as the elevator lobbydoors opened and sitting on a folding table in subsidized housing in the tenderloin where it truly looks as if there isn't any hope left , in a tiny patch of golden sunlight sat a donation for the residents of the SRO. Large boxes of Bob's.
They were still warm and made a really darky everyday experience a whole lot Lighter.
Thank you Bob's
For knowing your product
And it's influence in the community.
The donuts themselves are clearly made with heart and the variety is plentiful.
I promise on my next in store visit I will give you my top 5. And then I will jog the top 5 off cuz it takes 20 to make a list.“

“The donuts here are delicious and definitely live up to the mochi name- they’re chewier than your standard donut texture, but that is the attraction! We only purchased two donuts to try, but wish we had gotten more! We tried the Ube and Churro flavours andLoved them. The staff was very kind and the prices were fair.“

“So nice to see a gluten free bakery making items like croissants! I had an olive, ham and cheese roll, and the pain au chocolat. Other than the fact that they weren't warm (it was late afternoon and they'd likely sat in the case since the morning), they tasted very good. I really appreciated the pain au chocolat -- the dough had that golden, buttery baked color to it that gluten free flours have a hard time achieving. Is it as good as the gluten/wheat flour croissant? No, but when your allergies can't allow you to have that, this is a happy discovery in its place. Do they ship to Canada, by chance???“

“This hole in the wall is so good! There are so few shops in San Francisco that sell fresh and tasty pastries, most are hard lumps. I haven’t enjoyed pastries this delicious outside of Europe. Super happy to find this spot. It’s difficult to tell if they’re open early in the morning as the signage is small, so give a good look around so you don’t miss it.“
“Standing dine-in only. Great for coffee, doughnuts and lunch plates (fried foods, burgers and some Asian/island style food). It’s got regular staff and customers. They’re pretty consistent on quality and will throw in extras some time for regular, tipping customers. I enjoyed getting their burger and fries for lunch. Cheap even with the tip, and fairly quick. Good plate-lunch vibes.FYI, sometimes their number in Google maps is wrong/just doesn’t work even if they’re open and taking orders.“

“This place gives off San Fran vibes and I love it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I had their french cruller and I think that it has crack in it—I was addicted after the first bite. Please stop by and support this neighborly little donut shop. My new favorite lil shop.“

“A true neighborhood cafe - this means friendly service where the owner recognizes the patrons and genuinely asks about their day; loved the glazed donut, and the drip coffee; I went here after tennis at Delores Park . I like the red and yellow canopy with white lettering! Cafe is cozzy , well lit, clean, well maintained. Wonderful murals near this cafe. Great owner / manager ; also loved the effigies of Cambodian gods inside this place.“
“Very friendly couple at the counter. Always get a box of a dozen donuts here from time to time. They make them really good here, though I recommend getting them before 8am because the donut options get slimmer as the morning goes on. Browsing their menu, they have quite a variety of breakfast and lunch items that look good.“

“Walked in by chance. We were touring San Francisco and wanted to get something portable, so donuts and smoothie sounded good. Once inside we saw the two ladies making amazing ham/cheese croissant sandwich and we had to try. Delicious!! Hot and toasty from the oven, flaky croissant. So good. We also saw huge chicken burritos being made… will have one of those next time! The mango smoothie was a cool blast of flavor. Tasted like summer. We also got a glazed donut (why not?! ?) and an apple fritter. Both were fresh and delicious.Accessible. A few small tables. Street parking.“

“So good for such an unassuming little hut. I got a chai doughnut and the spicing they used was wonderful. It was my second favorite doughnuts I've ever had.
I also had a latte and it was excellent too. But the doughnut was definitely the star of the show. Would come back for another one (and I'm not even an SF resident).“

“I love the pho noodle soup, ban mi sandwiches and curry chicken with rice -- solid vietnamese dishes here. Great take out and carry away options for the busy working professionals. There is also some seating in the shop at the front by the windows, and in the back as well.“

“This place is AWESOME! Being vegan, I asked what was available. I was told the plain cake donut, the sugar donut and the crumb donut were all vegan! I grabbed a crumb and sugar and they blew me away. Absolutely wonderful. My partner, who is not vegan, got an egg and cheese sandwich that was HUGE and delicious! We also shared a lemonade that was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I can not recommend this place enough. If not for the food, then for the excellent service. Definitely needs to be a stop when visiting San Fran:)“
“They have a whole lot of donuts and their service has no holes in it. Very busy place, but don't fret because you can get your donut fix in time. Probably why they named themselves that, but I'm not in the donut mafia so I couldn't really say.In all seriousness, as serious as one can get get about donuts, the donuts are fresh and taste like they should delicious. If you're look for a conventional type of donut come here. If you're looking for something bizarre I don't know what to tell you aside from enjoy the simple things in life while you can. Thank you for taking the time to read this and maybe it made you laugh a bit... maybe.“

“Been here twice. If you can get passed the homeless smoking crack just outside, then the place is great. The two ladies inside are cheery and friendly. The donuts were excellent and it's nice to see a place that sells apple "bear" claws. Coffee was hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable for the city.“

“I love that they are open until midnight! They accept both card and cash. But if your total is under $7, there is a fee for using credit card. (If your total is over $7, no credit card fee.)Very convenient location because they are right on the 9th and Judah stop (N).I got a cinnamon bun and a star-shaped sprinkle donut for $5.90 and the cinnamon bun was delicious. The star-shaped donut is so cute and I really enjoyed it!“

“This place is amazing I flew in from Utah and never had donuts like this in my life I can tell ingredients are amazing almost like made from duck eggs because of how soft they are like a perfectly toasted marshmallow soft on the inside and toasty in the outside delicious fresh prefect texture and quality everyone should come “

“It's really disappointing to see people leave bad reviews that are based on business decisions the store has made in order to simply survive, and not the actual quality of the food or service. The store not being open when you want them to be open, or not having dozens of different donuts on hand, are business decisions, and calling it out does not belong in a review. Stop being a child and take a moment to understand what's been going on downtown and in SOMA the last few years, and how that's impacted food and beverage establishments in particular.Every time I've been here, my food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and excellent. That's what matters to me.“

“Been wanting to try these donuts for awhile — not only are they INCREDIBLY instagrammable, but the sourdough spin on a donut makes them an obvious homage to SF.
We picked up half a dozen for a party and they were an instant hit — our friends loved the novelty and unique flavors (such as “blueberry and lime” and “campfire s’mores”), and they were big enough to cut into smaller bites for everyone to try.
The chewy texture leans less towards a typical baked dessert and more towards regular bread, which actually balances out the intensely sweet and decadent toppings really well.
The first notable downside is the price — I get that the donuts are high quality, but nearly $40 for a half-dozen donuts made this a one-time experience for us. We also picked up a coffee to go, and despite the cute as hell espresso machine, the coffee was below average. I just can’t see myself motivated to go out of my to come back.
The second downside was the presence of flies inside the donut case — we came in the afternoon and understand that flies can get in even the cleanest of spaces, but these big flies were landing all over the donuts. We had to ask the server to switch out a strawberry donut when she grabbed one that the flies had been on, and she didn’t seem too happy about the request.
Overall, if you’re looking for something fun and unique, this is a great place to try — but I wouldn’t plan on making it a regular haunt.“

“Great spot if you want to have a nice coffee or breakfast. Went there couple times, both times having the bagel with cream cheese and eggs and it was good with great taste, the bagel crispy and enjoyable, tasted some pastries and where good not too sweet which was good for my taste. The other party member had a ham sandwich and the other day a pastrami sandwich, both being very good and tasty. Coffee was good as well. Atmosphere chill and with tv on to see the local news. Id recommend it and will visit soon again. Xie xie!“

“Couldn't afford the entire price for a dozen donut holes. The nice lady broke it down for me and gave me like 8 or 9 donut holes or whatever the amount was to the pocket change i was paying with.Donut holes were all very good. Fresh. Tasty.Got pulled over by police 3 miles down the road though. Wish i had some donut holes left to offer them to the officer ....but luckily i was let go on a warning.“

“I didn’t know amazing places like Le Croissant Cafe still existed in big American cities. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by the warm welcome of the cashier. This is the type of small place where the cashier remembers the orders of her regulars. I love the simple hole in the wall appearance. They had this delicious vegetarian Bhan mi (tofu&veggie ham) that was just phenomenal. If you’re looking for a refreshing old school experience check this place out.“
“Love this place. It's been here since I was a kid. The owner is such a sweet lady and the rest of the staff are too. They always greet you with such kindness when you walk in. The food there is hella good. I love the special chicken and rice plate they have. They also serve breakfast and lunch and donuts :) plus it's right in front of a bus stop and opens at 5:30am“

“Opens early enough to stop in before work to get a little something. Basic breakfast and donuts so nothing exciting. I will give 5 stars to the woman behind the counter. She is friendly and kind. Great attitude for the small in & out environment.“
“The spicy chicken wasn't as spicy as I would have liked - even with the additional hot sauce they provided - but then again, that might just be my high tolerance. The chicken itself was juicy and scrumptious and the garlic noodles had a great consistency to them. I didn't try the donuts, but the apple fritters were a great size and I definitely want to try one the next time I'm in the area. Employees were friendly and inviting, which is key for me as a return customer. And the prices are wonderful - currently 8 dollars for three items! While the selection isn't as wide as other Chinese joints (especially in Chinatown), it's great if you're craving Chinese food and want some some quick and cheap takeout.“

“This little mom and pop shop was an absolute life saver when we visited SF. All the restaurants closed early for 4th of July and the ones that were still open had lines for hours.
I was impressed with how good my Bahn Mi sandwich was, considering it wasn’t authentic. 10/10 service.“

“I came here a number of times. They have a lineup of several kinds of donuts as well as breakfast sandwiches and burritos. I haven't been able to order one of everything yet, but everything looks so good. A combination of what may be regulars and the less frequent. It's one the line between Little Italy and Chinatown. The Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria would be more aligned with Little Italy and Columbus Street, which this is on. However, there are a lot of ethnic Chinese people who seem to frequent the place. Based upon the clientele, where is it really?“

“I always get the 12 pack for parties at my house and they’re a hit! Every flavor slaps. I would make sure to allocate time for pickups because there’s only one attendant and if you’re behind someone getting a lot of donuts, you need to be patient.“
