Beautiful
Found Happy Donut through TooGoodToGo (IYKYK), which ended up being such a nice little treat. After walking around the city all day, I picked up my bag, stepped outside, and immediately demolished a glazed donut in front of the shop lol. The cream-filled one with the coffee-flavored glaze was also amazing - it ended up being the perfect post-workout treat the next day :)
We tried the raised donuts and the old fashioned. Both were tasty, but the raised donuts were exceptional--fluffy and warm with a great glaze. Fast, friendly service as well!

Based on the reviews, HAPPY DONUT - Van Ness Ave is a nice restaurant in SF that you can’t tell from the outside. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is amazing. It has delicious doughnuts that are cheap every time, with a vast selection and a variety of fresh donuts. They also have a bunch of different flavors of coffee. The breakfast burrito is extra cheesy and delicious. The turkey sandwiches taste so fresh. There is an extensive menu with Asian dishes and some American food too. A plate lunch was fresh, high quality, and delicious. A chocolate old fashioned donut was really fresh and tasty. Great prices and everyone who works there is so nice. The staff are very polite and nice. Plenty of seating inside and parking across the street.
