“Awesome team here! Very kind people. Patient, warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming! As a non-donut person, buying a surprise donut for family, they walked me through the options, and helped me land on a perfect mix! Great esthetic. Tasty flavors, and unique flavors as well!Vegetarian options: A couple options; cannot speak to the taste of them tho; did not purchase!Dietary restrictions: Some vegan and other options!Parking: Large lots throughoutKid-friendliness: Yes!Wheelchair accessibility: Ada compliant; it’s a order window with outdoor seating around.“
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Krispy Kreme who? These donuts are beyond words of delicious and delightful. I drive from the East Bay usually late night when my husband and I are craving phenomenal donuts. The donuts are extremely fresh, the times I've been here there has been an older gentleman making them and racks of donuts ready to be bought. Yummmmmmm. Just incredible tasty donuts. You can tell the oil they get made in is also very fresh, no after taste of old oil. Donuts are not super greasy. The service is magnificent! The first time coming here the woman was extremely helpful and kind. The second time a young man helped us and he had a great personality and energy. He was telling us some of the stories of the donut place. Really enjoyed his service! The ambiance is an old school donut shop with closed off seating area but looks very vintage. Grab and go type of donut shop right on Polk St. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 100% :)“
“I still give this place five stars for their gluten free baked goods and take home lasagna but overall four stars because their service still sucks most of the time. I went by here recently on a Sunday morning before a meeting to grab something hot to eat. I love their hot pockets. However, it was 9:30 am. A number of people around me and I started to form a line. Some people asked the staff questions about the pastries and they answered while putting stuff out. None of the staff thought to tell us that they didn't open until 10 am on Sundays. After about 5 minutes of being ignored, I saw the small sign for their hours. I pointed it out to others and we all left. That was a horrible experience as I was hungry and now didn't have time to get something else before my meeting. On Pi Day, I came by and was pleased they had a number of pies available in different sizes. I picked up a small Chocolate Pie that was low in sugar and a small Cherry Pie. They were the perfect size for the three of us though they could have fed more people. We didn't finish the pies ourselves. The Chocolate Pie was yummy and perfect for me but my husband said it wasn't sweet enough for him. We all loved the Cherry Pie! We went back recently and picked up their pizza dough. It came with two rounds. They were awesome!!! We put on our own toppings and popped them into the oven. They came out delicious. I love their food. I just wish the service was better.“
“Great, individually orderable breakfast with great bagels, freshly squeezed orange juice and (of course) the best donuts in town. The service is also great. We were there three days in a row and were thrilled every time.Other, perhaps fancier cafés haven't managed this.“
“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“
“Happened to stumble upon this booth while walking around Pier 39 and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I were snacking on these as we were walking around the pier and finished a dozen after like 10 minutes! So delicious and definitely recommend if you are looking for a sweet treat at Pier 39.“
“This is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious treat! We had a banana cream ( don’t know whether I got the name right) , and pineapple something. They were both curiously delicious. The banana-flavored donut had cream for an extra-sweet finish, it was pillowy and perfect. The place is clean, and even with decorative statement pieces, clutter-free.“
“Mmmm... donuts. I'll take the donuts from Golden Creme over some of the more bougie Marin options any day of the week! Their donuts are old school- no fancy options here, just tried and true classics, and they're always fresh. They're cash only, and the prices are affordable. Overall, Golden Creme is probably my favorite donut shop in Marin.“
“This little cafe is right by one of the most scenic spots in SF - Crissy Field! I stopped by during a walk along the water. They have a few tables and chairs to enjoy your food and drinks there as well. I got a regular coffee, which I enjoyed, but the star of the show was the donut. I had the lemon poppy seed donut, which is one of their seasonal options. The flavors were great and I particularly liked that it wasn't too sweet. The donuts are small but hefty and it made the perfect snack. They also have vegan and gluten free regular and seasonal options, making this place super accessible for everyone.“
“Happy National Donut Day!Everyday should be National Donut Day here! Love this place, there's ample parking in this plaza. Service is always friendly, and food is always fresh. There's chowmein and other hot foods to-go, not just donuts. Can't go wrong with their delicious donuts. They will also make croissant sandwiches with egg and bacon upon request. 'Til next time ~ cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!“
“I give it a 5. Average of only 3 stars on yelp?? What do crazy people expect? This is San Francisco and a 1 item combo is $4.50, cash only. This isn't a Michelin star restaurant. So for what it is it, deserves 5 stars. Also, the owner is nice.“
“Got beef combo pho here on a Friday. Overall yum! I got it for take out. It's a bit pricey, coming to ~$17 with tax!! But, this area doesn't get the foot traffic it used to and the pho hit the spot. They were also accommodating when I asked for no noodles -- so, I got extra soup. It comes with 4 halves of meatballs (yum!), nice amount of beef slices (they provide spicy and hoisin sauce packets, which makes for great dipping sauce for the beef), tripe was tasty with great texture (slight crunch, not tough), healthy amount of sprouts.“
“Excellent vegan donuts, inside the ferry building near the pier/ Lots of options, I bought a variety, they all tasted great. A little pricey, $3 per vegan donut, great service. By contrast Whole Foods has 6 vegan donuts for $10. Much better value“
“I've been buying donuts from Andrew for 20 years. They've always been fresh and tasty, just what a donut should be. He and his lovely wife are great people who work hard to make their business a success. My daughter wanted a donut wall with custom donuts for her wedding dessert table. Apparently it's a hip thing to have nowadays.Andrew made us 4 dozen gorgeous, custom decorated, color coordinated donuts at an extremely reasonable price. The donuts disappeared faster than the wedding cake; so fast that even I didn't get one.Thank you Andrew for being part of making my daughter's wedding a success!“
“I tried the donuts and some other pastries.Really fresh and I was impressed with the glazed donut, especially for this price in comparison with other bakeries around the West coast. Solid bakery, really fresh stuff and the recipes are thought through. Fluffy and not too sugary imo. Not coming from the US and having tested a few donuts in the US, i really liked this one. Also had a good french Toast breakfast with Bacon and eggs one morning, but the plate looked a bit empty. Or better that the portion could have been a bit bigger. Also i don't know how this really fits together as one meal, but it seems like a thing. For this prices you can't go wrong in the SF area imo.“
“Decent options and big variety for one of the only spots being open at 8am in fisherman's wharf. They were relatively fast and very kind. There's a small sitting area and if you need a quick breakfast and caffeine fix you'll find it here.“
“I get donuts here to give to businesses I patronize. Auto repair, plumbing and electrical equipment supplier. The vegan options are especially appreciated as one of businesses I provide an occasional treat to have two staff that are vegan. The products offered are unequaled by any other similar type buildings. The look on everyone's faces when they see the Johny Donuts box is priceless.Vegetarian options: Vegan doughnuts. Very nice...“
“The people working here are excellent at getting you a good cup of coffee & a pastry very quickly & are all very friendly in doing so. Pastries are good, coffee is good, nothing exceptional. I give them 4 stars because of the great staff.“
“Lilikoi has some of the best boba in town. Their boba is really soft just the way I like it! They also serve food, but I usually only get the regular boba milk tea. They also serve poke bowls though! I really like the fact that they have sizes for the poke (rice, choice of poke, with multiple toppings). I got the smaller size for only $8 because I wasn't hungry, and it was the perfect size without costing a ton. The inside doesn't have much seating and is pretty quiet, so I always take mine to go, but there is also a small parklette area outside with some seating which is nice. Serve is easy as you can order off the iPad, but there is usually only one worker though so could be slow if it's busy. He is always friendly though. Love that I live nearby so I can always get my boba fix!“
“Been going here since I was a kid....great doughnuts but the customer service is lacking...I mean I get it they are just selling pastries and they woke up before the roosters but still...I mean you get to be around doughnuts at least smile at me or something. The other day I waited what seemed like an enternity for them to even acknowledge me. So if you want a delicious doughnut without the personal interaction this is your spot!!! :p“
